It was outstanding in all respects - only one mark down because the gym is a little small. Gym was clean and well equipped, but could be a little bigger or at least have a little floor space for weights.

Everything Nothing

Staff was amazing. Very down to earth and easy to talk to.

It's an absolutely fantastic place in every respect -- we can highly recommend it. Given the high standard of the hotel, it would have been nice if there were areas (in the restaurant, near the pool) dedicated to adults only to ensure more quietness and relaxation.

At times it was very noisy But we loved this hotel

Very peaceful, clean, beautiful environment. Fantastic staff making us genuinely welcome and spoiled. Truly, nothing to dislike here. Thank you.

Everything was beautiful with impeccable service

Loved everything about it, even though our room (the cheapest) was small. The hotel and surroundings are GORGEOUS, the food was good and the staff was exceptional: friendly, efficient and helpful. Can't say enough good things about it. Hope to return. Nothing, except maybe the size of the room but, as I said, it was their cheapest room./

Friendly service Arrival check in felt awkward and time consuming after a long journey Too many noisy children at pool It might be time for Oetker to invest in a second more child appropriate pool area for tge property.

The receptionists were professional and welcoming along with all the staff in the swimming pool. They worked really hard regardless of the heat. The estate is beautiful and has an amazing view. The suite we had was superb with a beautiful private balcony overlooking the bay. The amenities in general are really nice (spa, swimming pool) To begin with, when we first arrived, the receptionist implied we were coming for lunch as opposed to staying in the hotel. Such a nice welcome. Anyhow, the main issue is that the hotel was always too packed during our stay and we couldn’t feel any sense of privacy that you are seeking in a 5-star hotel. We felt like we were in a country club. For example, the lunch restaurant at the garden was really packed constantly with mediocre service. At the swimming pool, we always had to fight to find beach beds by the pool - this is way below standard. The pool was really noisy with all the people around - impossible to quietly rest… Even the so-called gastronomic restaurant was completely packed with tables really close to each other, feeling claustrophobic. It is definitely not within the standards of a Michelin star restaurant. The food was so-so but nothing creative nor surprising. Service was barely okay. Overall it lacks intimacy that we were hoping to experience and that we actually experienced in our previous trip in this hotel. I think that they allow now too many people not staying at the hotel to come have lunch / dinner. At night, we didn’t even get the best tables even though we are staying in one of the suites. At the spa, the blond receptionist was very rude to my girlfriend when she only wanted to try the tester products displayed. She lacked so much professionalism and tact. For breakfast, my girlfriend fasts and goes to the gym so I ordered only one breakfast menu in the room but they assumed that both of us would eat from this order and charged us 2 breakfast - even though serving only one (one egg, one juice, one fruit salad etc). We had to call to have it deducted from our bill but the room service girl was really hostile and trying to make us pay. It was really an unpleasant experience. During our stay, we had every single meal at the hotel and staid in a suite, so the minimum we would expect is to receive proper treatment.

The view from our room was exceptional. The management and staff could not have been more helpful. We loved the hotel. Our room was directly below the restaurant and extremely noisy with staff moving around in the restaurant. I wouldn’t want room 6 again.
