The property, room size, A/C (important during a heatwave!) the staff, location, and breakfast options. We stayed in probably 10 different hotels during our recent travels through Europe and hands down this was the nicest of all of them. It more than exceeded our expectations. The hotel was in a quieter section of Venice and away from the popular more crowded area. It was the perfect stay. We would absolutely go back. Nothing.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and happy to see you. The room was very clean and comfortable. The A/C did not work very well. It could be cooler. It made our stay somewhat uncomfortable.

Clean and luxurious. Great breakfast. Nice location

Loved it. Will be back

Nice hotel
-
The hotel was very clean, in a great quiet neighborhood that was walkable to all of the sights of Venice. Staff was very attentive to our needs, especially Marco who checked us in.
-
It was located away from the crowded tourist area, yet super close to everything. Clean and very attentive staff. It was difficult to get to the first day, not knowing the directions. But maybe that’s just Venice in general.
-
Apartment was very good with premium fittings and fixtures. Rooms were good size and full kitchenette was provided. Service was prompt and it took 2-3 mins for both checkin and checkout .

Instant coffee in the room was a disappointment

The staff was excellent. From Carlotta, who checked us in and handled all pur special requests to Andrea, the bartender. Very professional. Excellent people. Long walks to Piazza St. Mark, but you walk everywhere in Venice.

As amazing as the hotel was, the Staff deserves all of the credit. The front desk staff was 5-star and professional. They were more than willing to make dinner reservations for us, reserve motorized boat tours of the canals and taxis, and even set up tours for us. The bar waiters and breakfast staff were top tier as well! And speaking of breakfast, this breakfast was more than sufficient with all the American Proteins and beverages. The breakfast buffet is where you go to fill and fuel up for the day. Not just grab a sweet snack and run. Our stay was too short. Our fault, not the hotel.

Breakfast
-
The breakfast buffet was magnificent! Such a large variety of beautifully presented food items! The front desk staff even alerted the breakfast staff that I would need to enter the breakfast area 15 minutes prior to their opening because I had an early flight back home. The facility itself was beautiful and well kept. This is a hotel I would return to.

Location Nothing

Location is great to reach places in any direction. Our room faces a little plaza but sound proof was extraordinary and it was also fun to watch the activities around. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Shower room design was faulty and will cause floods when you take shower… our room is right under the restaurant so we kept waking up to the sound of chairs moving around upstairs when breakfast starts to get served…

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in Venice. The staff were helpful and their breakfast buffet was ample and delicious! If you are looking for a quiet hotel not too far from city attractions in Venice, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
-
The AC is remotely controlled off site thru another company. After August they shut it off. Which is fine, BUT there is NO fans in the bath room or in the rooms. So even with a window open there is no air movement. It becomes a sweat box until around midnight or layer when the outside temperature drops. A couple of fans or just the ability to turn the ac unit fan on would be so helpful

Excellent location on the piazza with local events happening - we loved to see that it was a true Venice community gathering each night! Great pickup from the water taxi right nearby, and we appreciated that the hotel staff arranged that for us easily. Loved the interesting artwork displayed throughout. Excellent breakfast, too. Would stay there again, 100%! Clearer communication/signage regarding how to operate the power and lights with the room card. This wasn't a custom in any of our stays in Italy (and uncommon to the US), so it took us a bit to figure out on our own. That would be a small, but very helpful improvement.
