Hotel Principe

Location was so convenient to shopping, train station, water taxies, and restaurants. Breakfast has many delish options including fresh fruit. We really enjoyed the knowledgeable concierge and attentive staff. We arrived by water taxi and were greeted immediately by the luggage handlers. There were tables and chairs looking out on the Grand Canal. The other side of Hotel Principe led you out to a street with shops, etc. Our shower door would not close adequately so we had a wet floor. I figured out a work around to have a much dryer floor the next day. American Express charged an transaction fee which made 2 glasses of wine cost $35.55. The fan in the bathroom was more noisy than I expected. It is hard to recall something that I didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Principe. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the train station, which made arriving and departing with our luggage incredibly convenient. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the city. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options, and everything was well prepared. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I would definitely stay at Hotel Principe again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice, especially if you're looking for a comfortable hotel in a convenient location near the train station. I liked everything about this hotel.

After the overnight rain, there was a water leak under the sofa bed from the window.

Great location right on the Grand Canal. It was comfortable Could maybe use an update. One weird thing was if someone was taking a shower above us somehow it sounded like it was raining in our room through the walls. ? No actual water came through but just the sound.

Fantastic location! We enjoyed the “boat parade” every morning during the awesome breakfast. Clean and close to the train station, grocery, and boat stops.

I loved that it was a short walk from the train station and walking distance to all major sites. The room was very nice and staff were very helpful.

Accessibility and location. A quick walk from the bus station. Friendly and professional staff. I had to leave early, so I didn’t get the chance to have the included breakfast.

The room was very clean and the daily cleaning staff was excellent and took the time to do the little things. The room was well appointed with everything needed. The staff was helpful. They had a great, included breakfast with a patio on the canal. We would definitely stay again. Everything was great! Possibly that the bar was in the sitting area versus the very small sushi restaurant.

Location

Location was convenient. Close to train station. Also has its own dock which make transportation easier. The rooms were big and had great views. The front desk guy was quite rude every time I interacted with him. Had to take Stairs even after using elevator as floors had separate sections. No complimentary water for guests in the room. Had to buy a bottle of water for 5€.

Great staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly I liked the location it was easy to access the train station. Breakfast was excellent. The Hotel was very clean.
