The Venice Venice Hotel

The restaurant terrace was in an excellent location, and all the staff were very welcoming. In this hotel, everywhere was very dark - in the evening, in the room, it was impossible to read, there was no real light in the lobby, and the lift was totally dark. In the room, there were no chairs - no place to sit for two people, no table to place a computer, and no available electrical sockets to connect the computer.

Amazing service by the staff. We were greeted by Valentina who offered us arrival espressos and so kindly upgraded our room. We had a corner suite facing the Rialto bridge, amazing view! Sharmila made our breakfast so enjoyable and was amenable to whatever the kids wanted to order. She also organized 3 to-go boxes for the kids for our early flight the next morning. Finally Manuel who helped us catch a very early flight and set up our taxi while organizing the luggage. This is a beautiful hotel in the middle of everything, an oasis from the crowds. Not having an afternoon spritz on the Grand Canal was my only regret! Hangers...odd thing to point out but they're fixed on the closet rods. Tough for families who have smaller childrens clothes.

Breakfast sounded wonderful but the actually execution was mediocre. Toast that was only toasted on one side, cold eggs, really strange unappealing waffle and pancakes. Coffee was good. We did appreciate the electric coffee maker in the room and very much appreciated that the housekeeping cleaned and set it up for us everyday after use, while we were out. The staff was very, very hospitable and eager to help. Breakfast sounded wonderful but the actually execution was mediocre. I found the lounge area off the reception really uncomfortable - furniture was extremely tiny and too close together, and just not comfortable to sit in. Also, accessing the dining room was awkward - you either had to enter through an exterior door off of the dock or walk through the store to get there. Similarly, the entrance to the street was through the store and there didn't seem to be a way to get to the ground floor from our room (#39) except by taking an elevator to the 1st floor and then a second elevator to the ground. The lighting controls in the room were kind of ridiculously difficult to use and overall the room was too dark and there weren't enough horizontal surfaces for luggage, clothing, etc. More accesible plugs (in useful places) and more hangers would have been nice.

The location is somewhat perfect, very close the rialto, on the canal and can be anywhere in the city really fast. The interior design is great and the staff is always here for you. Strong recommend!

Excellent location, outstanding hotel and staff

Almost everything. The breakfast was very good, the staff were kind and supportive, and the location is outstanding. The lighting was a bit too dim, which made it difficult to find the exact spot to place the key card when opening the door from the outside. In the room, near the bed, there were only USB-C sockets. It would be helpful to have at least one standard power outlet as well. The internal layout of the hotel is a little confusing when moving around. Nothing serious—just small improvements that could make the experience even smoother for an otherwise excellent hotel.

Venice Venice is a work of art. It tells a story through every detail from architecture, to food, to staff - which are all exceptional. I've been to Venice countless times before but this was an extra special experience and pure magic because we stayed at this hotel. N/A

staff , food , room comfort , location and cleanliness and the view the room and the lobby and elevators are almost dark and very small light , and the interior does not make you feel comfortable in such light .

Amazing building, wonderful location for both walking and river taxis. Nothing, a building of this age will always have some challenges but it’s beautifully restored and maintained.
