    Room 143 needs some love and attention. Drapes torn, walls need painting, floor needs to be mopped, my feet were so dirty from walking on the floor.

    Bar - the ad says "Restaurant" and "Bar," but there's no restaurant, and that's very bad. I drive 1,230 miles and know there's a restaurant. I won't be running around looking for food. I arrive and, come on, there's nothing. Why doesn't anyone check these ads? Five nights and no one asked if they wanted to take it, maybe refill the coffee or sugar, or clean up? No. It's unfair on the owner's part and they're lying to people.

    Complained to Front desk who then offered us Free breakfast to make up for it. Lastly the room just never cooled sufficiently and the maintenance guy who came up said he had to replace 3 AC units that night alone. Honestly we were too tired to deal with it at this point so just ended up sleeping in a semi-warm room and reported it again in the morning so that AC unit could be fixed or replaced. Curiously, the things I was worried about in reading the negative reviews was the cleanliness of the rooms, possible “bugs” and rooms needing to be updated. The room we were in was very clean, very nice, definitely NO BUGS of any kind… I was disappointed in the “attitude” of the 1 person I had the negative experience with and a room that never cooled sufficiently. Apart from that, the property and room were very clean, very nice. Front desk and maintenance tried to be accommodating. I would definitely give the property another shot hoping that this was a “One off “ and my next stay would be better. So for these reasons I can’t give a better review.

    No rooms were available until 5:30. Pool bar was ok but very busy. Drink assortment was good. Roof was leaking in lobby otherwise appeared well kept. Lots of people at pool. There were kids staying alone in the room next to us. Running in and out of room and very loud until after 2am. Approx age 10. Hardly slept and almost left in middle of night due to this. We and others asked them to keep it down. Knowing kids can stay in room alone I would not stay again.

    When we went to check in we were notified there was no water going to the showers. How you continue to take reservations without water boggles my mind. We asked them to please cancel the reservation and the front desk lady said we had to do it through Hotels com. We went to Kasey Key Resorts Mainland and they were awesome. Super clean room, nice pool area and free shuttle to the private beach at Kasey Key Resorts beachfront. They did charge my card but Hotels.com customer service was awesome and got the card refunded in full despite Ramadas policy to only give a partial refund if you cancel after check in.

    The restaurant was good! I have stayed here for a few years now. The hotel needs a makeover really bad! Our room key barely ever worked, the room was dingy and needed updating.

    We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years, and this will be the last stay for us. It has definitely gone downhill over recent years, and doesn’t appear that it’s well maintained. We love the location, close to the downtown Venice area and beaches. When we arrived, the room felt very dingy and dirty. The furniture was tired and worn. The bathroom needs a full revamp and also felt very dated. Mix matched lightbulbs, filthy lamps and lampshades… it felt more like a low-end motel. We visited the pool, and we are happy to report that it was clean. We hope management can work on getting this hotel in better condition, and truly take into consideration the reviews that have been submitted.

    I am writing regarding my recent reservation and check-in at your property located at: Ramada by Wyndham Venice Hotel Venezia
 I booked a three-night stay. Unfortunately, upon entering our room, we were extremely disappointed and concerned by the condition of the accommodations. The room had a strong odor of mold and mildew that was immediately noticeable. In addition, there was visible mold and mildew present throughout the bathroom and around the door frames. The overall condition of the room did not meet reasonable cleanliness or health standards, and we did not feel comfortable or safe staying there. Due to these conditions, we chose not to stay in the room at all and immediately made alternative lodging arrangements for the remainder of our trip. We did not spend the night in the room and will not be using any of the remaining nights of our reservation. Given the unsanitary condition of the room and our inability to use the accommodations that were booked, I am respectfully requesting a full refund for our three-night stay. I would appreciate a prompt review of this matter and a response regarding the refund process. I am happy to provide photographs of the room conditions if needed. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response and a fair resolution.

    When staying in a hotel, you pay for a roof over your head, a comfortable bed and a place to shower. When one of those comforts are taken away, it causes a very unpleasant trip home after going to the beach in the morning, and unable to take a shower because there was no water to take a shower. Front desk was zero help.
