Hotel Metropole Venezia

The hotel is very well located, and the staff are consistently kind and welcoming. I have stayed here several times, but unfortunately, I felt that the hotel has declined somewhat since my last visit. It would benefit from some renovation and attention to detail in order to regain its former splendour. In particular, the bed linen, pillows, blankets, bathrobes, and hairdryers feel dated and should be renewed or replaced. Greater attention should also be paid to the thoroughness of the housekeeping and the overall cleanliness of the rooms. I have always been fond of this hotel and sincerely hope it receives the care and updating it needs to restore the charm and quality I remember from previous stays.

Elegant surroundings and quiet even though right next to Zacharia stop... Easy access to Alilaguna stop! Lovely apple cake on one day for breakfast... Except for apple cake, breakfast was acceptable but not memorable - and no arugula salad [one of my favorite things about Italian breakfast buffet]...

The rooms are bad and small and there is no view from the rooms because the windows are small and high and completely different from the pictures during booking and there is no ventilation in the rooms and the air conditioning system is old and lacks control There is a smell of dust in the rooms because they are all made of cloth and the mattresses are not comfortable to sleep in.

Superb

We loved the welcome that we received. When we booked the private transfer from the airport, we didn't expect to be met at the Arrivals door as we hoped off the transfer bus! We loved the beautiful decor, the smiley and friendly staff. We booked a room overlooking the lagoon which was incredible. We were very surprised we didn't have a coffee maker in the room. It would have been nice to have an iron and ironing board too, but we could have called reception to request one.

Nothing bad staff Couldn’t use the spa and messed up valentines booking and I got food poisoning was sick and had 2000 euro charge

Beautiful decor and prime location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The one evening meal we had there was excellent. Although the food was excellent, some what pricey compared to surrounding restaurants. Mini bar was very expensive.

The hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel is so beautiful and like a museum itself. The staff were so accommodating and couldn't do enough to please us. I recommend the spa, its really good. The bedroom was spacious and stunning. We will be coming back - 5 stars. Nothing - it was perfect
