Location was excellent. Staff was freindly. Issues with thermostat control in rrom that was not repaired until last day.Bathroom sindk did not drain well. Step up to front door and bathroom that was dangerous at night when dark. thought room was overpriced.

The staff were helpful beyond belief. Every need and special request were handled above our expectations. Location was excellent. Room clean and comfortable. A/C during this hot spell worked very well.

Loved our stay here! The location was great, so close to St. Mark's Basilica and tons of restaurants. The room was a bit small for the four of us, but comfortable otherwise. I didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel, but the staff more than made up for it—they were so helpful with getting us taxis and gave us the best advice on where to go and eat around Venice. I was very happy with my stay! Everything was good. There was nothing I did not like at the hotel.

We like the location and the staff was very good. At the beginning we had problems with the air conditioning, but were resolved. However, the layout of our room, for three adults, was not good and the mattress of the extra bed was not comfortable.

Very nice.

The housekeeping staff on my day of check out knocked and, without waiting for my reply, opened the door with their key, highly unprofessional!

Absolutely the best position, value for money. The staff were amazing so helpfully, with power leads, tours, restaurant recommendations', pillows, as well as getting us to next destination. Breakfast was also great Loved the roof top for a drink also. Would have liked real mugs/cups for the coffee machine in the room instead of paper.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Right in front of the public transport made for getting luggage to your hotel quick. The view cant be beat. I wanted Italian charm and I did get it.. the mattress was firm, which i like. The shower had a door, good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bathroom was a bit tight and I couldn't get the towel warmer rack to work but maybe that was me. The windows do open and it was wonderful the be able to sit in our room, enjoy the breeze, listen to the water and watch the people. The desk clerks were polite and even held our luggage after check out for a few hours before we left. Breakfast was buffet style around the corner from the hotel. Its served from 730 to 10 and they mean they close at 10. They won't refill stuff til 10 and then let you eat until its gone. At 10, they take the food away so the earlier you go the better selection you get. The thermostat would limit you to a range of 21 to 26 Celsius. It was cold that night and we couldn't turn up the heat. The tv didnt work at first and my husband had to mess with it. When he did get it on only e English channels. All 3 were news. Although the tv had a Netflix button, Netflix didnt work in the tv. There was no clock so you had no idea what time it was unless you looked at your phone. Finding our room was also a bit different. It was kind of like a maze of up steps and down steps..it took me a whole day of get it down and by then it was time to go. Also there was a step down to get into the room and a step up for the bathroom so make aure you remember that so you dont fall. The thermostat would limit you to a range of 21 to 26 Celsius. Our stay and experience at the Hotel Paganelli were absolutely amazing! We’re glad to have chosen to stay here. The hotel manager even managed to greet us at the dock and help us carry our luggage! Nowhere else have I seen this level of service. The daily breakfast served at the ristorante just around the corner offers a pleasant selection of food options plus the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Same goes with the rest of the hotel staff — a friendly smile every chance they get to greet you. Location is great which is near to places like St. Mark’s Basilica and plaza square, Doge’s Palace, restaurants and shops. The thermostat in both rooms we stayed in cannot be adjusted maybe because of the season and was set to 25C. We just opened the window to cool down the room at times when we felt warm.

Breakfast was around the corner and was very nice. The options were very good and I loved the pastries. The location of the hotel is very convenient and central. The housekeeping staff took good care of the room. The only issue is that one of the tables is under an air conditioning vent that leaks -- so you need to know not to sit there. Our room was on a walk up floor, so it was a bit difficult with luggage.

Location Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all.

Small room, small and scary elevator

The location is excellent, just a few steps from St. Mark's Square. Being right in front of a Vaporetto station made a huge difference for us getting around Venice with luggage. Also, the staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. Everything was perfect.
