Nothing AC not working Entrance not direct Very small elevator Very old furniture Receiption is one person works 8-8 that’s it They will give you 3 keys (one for main door, other door then to your room) and they don’t have spare for them Once you enter the place it looks like apartments in 1950

This was, without a doubt, the best hotel of our entire trip. The highlight is the absolutely stunning view of the Grand Canal from the shared dining area. Having breakfast or simply enjoying a coffee while looking out over the canal felt like a true Venice experience. The complimentary croissants available throughout the day were delicious. They were simple, but fresh and tasty, and always available in the common area. Tea, coffee, and drinking water were also provided free of charge and without restrictions, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast exceeded our expectations. It may not be a gourmet restaurant-style breakfast, but there was a wide variety of options and everything you need to start the day before exploring the city. Honestly, I was surprised by some of the reviews criticizing it. We found it excellent. If you are looking for a luxury brunch experience, then perhaps your expectations are different, but for a hotel breakfast it was fantastic. The room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we could not find a single issue. The woman at the reception was wonderful. She was welcoming, helpful, and recommended several great places to eat in the city, all of which turned out to be excellent suggestions. The location is perfect. We walked everywhere during our stay and never needed transportation. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible on foot. What impressed us most was the level of hospitality. During breakfast, we forgot to order something in advance, yet the staff still made sure we received it without any problem. Small gestures like this made us feel genuinely welcome. We are usually very demanding guests, especially when it comes to cleanliness, comfort, and service, but even if I tried, I honestly could not find a single reason to complain about this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommended.

No air conditioning so it was really, uncomfortably hot

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The location and view from the common area were nice, and the staff allowed us to store our luggage until 7 PM after checking out at 11 AM, which was appreciated and gave us more time to enjoy Venice. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not justify the high price. The air conditioning was not cold, and the building’s elevator was very small and complicated to operate, with a capacity of only three people. If you need to use the stairs at night, be aware that the area can be very dark, so having a flashlight on your phone is helpful. The room itself felt old and outdated, with some fixtures and picture frames showing signs of wear and deterioration. The shower area had mold on some of the tiles. Breakfast was average and required filling out a menu the day before, with limited choices. The only egg option was boiled eggs, and the fruit was served whole with stickers still attached, which gave the impression that it may not have been washed. This was the final hotel of our Rome–Florence–Venice trip and, unfortunately, also the most expensive. Compared with our other accommodations, it was by far the biggest disappointment and did not meet our expectations or provide good value for the price. See above

The view is very good. It is not easy to reach the property. The nearest water boat/bus station is across the Realto bridge around 10 minutes away by foot. The elevator is very small. The doorbell doesn’t have a name. The reception is only available from 8 AM until 8 PM. If you are arriving after 8 PM you will need to email your passport picture through email! Doing this is very unsafe for passport information. Then many hours after the request of me sending the image of the passport, and when I had already left the show I was attending, and missing out, the property told me they have a secure website through which you can upload your passport image--the question is why nobody told me before I left the show I was traveling to see and had only one chance to see it. If I knew this problem existed, I would have either reconsidered staying at the hotel or scheduled my day accordingly. I walked to the hotel and got there at 6:30 to sign in to the hotel. During that night around 8:45 and 10:30 pm I heard two different couples struggling with getting into their hotel room, they were trying the keys and it seemed they were very puzzled and desperate. When I checked the reviews just now I noticed there are reports of difficulty using electronic keys at this hotel, so I was happy that I went there early to check in in person; the last thing I needed after a long day was to get keys that do not work or are difficult to decipher.

It was loud for sleeping, too much noise. The beds weren't that comfortable.

Amazing location close to multiple vaparetto stops and the Rialto Bridge. This made for a great launching off spot for our trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but the bedding and furniture was a little worn. Access, check in, and check out were very easy. Housekeeping changed towels only once during the stay. Bedding and furniture was a little worn, but clean.

It’s Venice! Breakfast room overlooks the canal! Historic building with terrazzo floors that slope and very easy location- near sights but not overwhelmed by them. There is a lift though it’s tiny! Lots of walking! The staff was kind to me! Note that there is no 24 hour desk so the virtual might not work. My plane was rerouted and arrival delayed until after midnight and it took another 30 minutes to get in when I was finally able to awaken the on site staff. The breakfast was minimal.

Location, close access to water taxi/bus, large room, beautiful views No window screens = lots of mosquito bites

  • Engine customer May 2026

The Price/room value was completely out of proportion

    Really good location.

Beautifully decorated room in a historical building. Location was great being near to restaurants and shops and from where we were, we had walking access to Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge etc. We had a window that had a view of the Grand Canal below our room, not one of the little side canals and breakfast was included. Nothing in particular.

A real hidden gem located in the heart of Venice island. Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli, a boutique residence, is a former merchant's grand apartment complex on the third floor of a building backing on to the Grand Canal. You will need the extremely helpful video instructions (sent the day before arriving) to fathom your way through front gate, courtyard and elevator/stairs to hotel reception. A warm welcome awaits, with a guided tour of the main salon breakfast area that overlooks the Grand Canal and off which all the en-suite rooms open. Rooms are well appointed with modern fittings and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was almost overwhelming in its selection, quality and quantity. Leaving baggage after check-out for later collection is all part of the service (as is depositing baggage before check-in). Following our experience, for any future visit to Venice, I would seek availability here first.

    Everything

Location, small terass with the view to the Grand canal, nice spacious room with beautiful interior Coffee/tea always available Breakfast options are limited, but sufficient. The reception staff on the morning of March 7th( younger lady) was quite impolite. There was no greeting and goodbye, when we asked to leave the luggage till the evening on the check-out, the response about the timing was delivered in a very rude manner. A more welcoming attitude would greatly improve the guest experience

The receptionist and housekeepers were really polite. We were thankful for them to preparing our room as quickly as they can. The room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a good place. Of corse we went to Venice during the carnival and prices were really high and there are no bathrobes. In Rome we paid 80€ for 2 days here we spent more than 100€ per 1 day ?

    Beautiful view to the canal

    No wardrobe to hang clothes

  • Engine customer Dec 2025

I confirm previous comments about location and view, to which I would add our playful adventure of the late self check-in procedure, that very much resembled to an escape room challenge, all of that in fantastic XVI century building, it was an unparalleled experience for a teenager!
