Everything about The Gritti Palace was superb. All of the staff were wonderful. The room was immaculate and cozy. Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Location was great and easy access by water taxi. We needed an emergency dentist and they set us up with an excellent Italian dentist. Will definitely stay here again.

The best staff ever!

Everything about this property is excellent. The location couldn’t be better. Close to all the main attractions that we and the views were amazing but not right in the super touristy area of San Marco. Wonderful outdoor dining for all three meals of the day. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful for everything. They arranged a private tour for us in a glass studio in Murano. The room is a generous size for a European standard room and bathroom was beautiful too. The lobby and public areas are well appointed and the whole place feels very Venetian.

Superb location on the Grand Canal and just a few minutes walk to San Marco. The hotel is incredibly comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Service was impeccable. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay, to our considerable surprise they delivered a beautiful cake to our room. Nothing.

The staff at the Gritti Palace are incredible, accomodating, friendly, polite, they remember you from last time, not like you are just a number & believe me in Venice that is not a common thing! The vegetarian club sandwich fell a little short of my last one, but given this time we stayed it was the beginning of Carnivale when Venice is drowning with tourists its a little to be expected.
