Owner was very nice and welcoming, the place had everything I wished for including a great breakfast. The room had a huge balcony and the property even had a nice private garden around. Recommended in every way! Nothing comes to my mind, I enjoyed my stay very much

Perfect location to the boat service, beach, and downtown area. Room was clean, area was quiet for sleep in the evening. I would highly recommend this for your vacation!

I love area! It was very close to water tram and beach, restaurants and markets. Ladies, who take care of house are amazing and very kind, we could eat a pizza in the garden, the bathroom was private only for us. It was clean and homelike. Breakfast is only sweet (croissants, sweet buns, cereals, joghurts with jam/nutella to choose), you can have coffee, tea, water in the bottle and delicious juice. If you would like to eat something not sweet, you can buy it in market which is near by. We totally fall in love in Lido! To Venice you have Vaporetto, which it takes around 20min to get there.

The host was really nice and supportive. Gracie mille! The villa's location is very central, close to the little city square and the beach. The house is decorated with much love in a vintage Italian style. The bedroom and bathroom offer a lot of space and comfort. The attached patio is a nice place to sit in the morning or in the evening after a beach day. The host offers a decent breakfast, including coffee, tea, Joghurt, Juice and some pastries. -

Nice house, close to the vaporetto station and the beach small room with no office to work, no A/C, need to open the windows to sleep but then attacked by the mosquitos in spite of the anti-mosquitos, nice bathroom but not juxtaposed to the room, bed extremely soft (unusual in Italy)

We stayed for four nights. The main purpose of our visit was Venice Biennale, and this location was very convenient - less than 15 minutes combined by foot/bus and vaporetto to Giardini. The communication with the hosts was smooth both before and during the stay. The overall feel was like staying at parents of grandparents :) The room was not very big, but not too small. Separate (and very spacious!) bathroom in the corridor is not a problem as was just one step from the room door. Large terrace was perfect to spend evenings, but beware of zanzarella - mosquites. Do use protection on skin and electronic device provided in the room.

Location - It is a 1 min bus ride from the Lido water bus station, and another 20 min ride to the St Marco Plaza. Lido is a pleasant place to stay and is perfect retreat after a busy day in the Venice main islands. Breakfast - They provide very nice breakfast in a beautiful, vintage, wood furnished room. Room - The room has a balcony which is great for some sunshine and fresh air breaks. Washroom is right next to the bedroom and is clean. Bed room is not big, just enough for opening two large luggage but that’s ok. Lastly, the host family is friendly and give us clear instructions to check in and check out, even we do not speak Italian. No complaints.

The location is very good, not far from the Lido boat station. Very quiet, also not far from the Venice Lido beach. Lido is very beautiful. It is not far from other island. We really enjoyed our stay. The manager and Maria were very kind, especially Maria. Thank you for all, I mean your availability, your smile. Thanks again I think, the beakfast needs to be revisited because it is essentially based on industrial products which are not good for your health. Some fruits could be appreciated. I did'nt like the breakfast.

    - the house was very beautiful. It had a very welcoming feel and felt like a family home. - the bed was very comfortable. - The owners were kind, helpful, and really lovely people. They helped us to work out the water taxi and advised on a local eatery. - the room’s balcony was a welcoming and nice addition. The view out was picturesque and scenic. - the owners allowed us to leave our bags in the home after checking out on the day of departure, as our flight wasn’t until the evening. - zero housekeeping. although the room was clean on arrival, it was not touched by any house cleaning for the whole 4 day stay. However, within the first 2 hours of arrival, and sleeping due to an overnight flight, the host knocked and went to open our door. He quickly apologised when he realised we were in bed, but later explained it was for house keeping purposes. - no check in and confusion upon arrival. We were shown to our room without even being asked our names. - room not as advertised. Even though we were the only guests during our stay, and booking a double room, we were given a small room that was different to the pictured room in my confirmation email. The room that was pictured, we discovered on our final night, was occupied by the elderly owner as the door was left wide open and they were asleep in the bed. We later discovered that the room we stayed in was advertised as a single room and pictured with a single bed on Booking.com - Other people’s personal stuff in the room. There were two large baskets in our cupboard full of personal items including electronics, diaries, toiletries, and even a full wallet. - breakfast. Consisted of individually wrapped pastries with no use by date, cereal (but no milk anywhere in the building. Resorted to asking the owner who gave us a carton from her private fridge), and jams. No fresh produce whatsoever and was set out the night before. To add insult, on our final morning the house was filled with the smell of a cooked breakfast which presumably was for the owners. - no check out and confusion upon departure. At check out time the house seemed empty and no one to receive us. We called out for someone and it took some time before anyone came.

The friendliness of the family who is very respectful and polite and we are people of colour... which are not embraced in the area. Also, Donatella, the daughter, is a wonderfully helpful person. She made our stay comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the mattress.
