A cute hotel in Palud sur Verdon, a quaint town in Provence, offers easy access to the Gorges de Véroncle, the Verdon River, and the scenic Lac de Saint Croix.

Location to village center and shuttle for our hike. We had a refrigerator in the room. Room was spacious and quiet; great views! Breakfast was great!! Everything was great!

Towels were brownish white which is a bit off-putting, they must renew all towels.

Perfect location for hiking the Verdon Gorge. Nice to have a restaurant on site for dinner.

Great location, very friendly staff at check-in and the restaurant No great value for money (for price we paid) - most expensive yet smallest of whole trip, not suitable for twin room. It didn’t help to see upon arrival the much cheaper price for the same twin room advertised (*this cheaper price included breakfast and taxes, too - we checked)

The location is in between of Verdon Gorges and Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. It’s rather convenient to visit both places. It takes about 30-40mins driving. The restaurant next to it has declious food. The breakfast has a range of choices, but it would be better if the quality would be a bit better, for example, fresh croissants and fruits.

The bus stop to go hiking into the canyon conveniently stops directly at the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the room was newly refurbished, very modern and clean. The restaurant offers nothing special, neither for breakfast nor for dinner. The menu sounds nice, the plates are big enough, but the food does not taste really good. In the morning they only have canned or thawed fruits which is really a bummer for me. But they offer vegan milk options which was nice. The dinner menu also offers vegetarian or vegan options, which is often hard to find.

Very friendly staff and super comfy bed. Great location near the village centre but quiet and with plenty of parking. The restaurant menu looked good but we chose to eat out in one of the small handful of restaurants in the village. We went on the next morning to drive the Route des Cretes (spectacular) which starts a couple of kms from the hotel. Lots of local signposted trails in beautiful countryside.

Great hotel located in the heart of Gorges du Verdon. Very friendly people, tasty food ? super dog friendly. We loved everything and didn't want to leave.
