Surrounding calm Staffs acted like boss and showed an anger without reason snatching room key on the way checkout. I regret that my ignorance of hotel review. Food was terrible compared with money. Domitary two story bed making skwicking noise can not sleep upper bed.

Great location at the end of a scenic road over the Verdon I hit my head five times on a low beam from the ceiling. My other hosts in southern France were friendlier.
-
Well located outside town in a silent meadow on the route des crêtes, perhaps the most scenic of Gorges du Verdon. Simple accommodation at a very low price. It is a youth hostel with only a few fully private rooms.

I didn't know elephants were allowed in the hotel. Once someone is awake in the hotel, everyone can hear it. Smashing doors, the stairs made so much noise we taught it broke down.
-
Great location for the Route des Crêtes. Half board possible. Too far from the town (1 km). The rooms were a bit small.
-
Location, charm - retro and basic. Staff. Dogs barking all night at next door farm. No hot water. No fruit at breakfast.
-
Great location surrounded by beautiful vistas Horribly dirty - bugs and spiders in the room, suspiciously looking dark bedsheets, strange smell in the room, and a scary looking bathtub.

Great location and good value for money with friendly helpful staff.

The location It was too dirty . We had 3 rooms. The one on the attic was really dirty. The covers of the beds were dirty. There were old blankets, you couldn't sleep on. In all rooms the bath taps were so old and yellow dirty. We slept on the towels. We arrived late at night, otherwise we would have left, no matter we already paid. They don't speak English. The entrance and other common areas were messy. We got up at 5.00 am and drive away

The place is a great base for hiking. The views from the window were beautiful. The place, room, and breakfast were basic, but good. If you just need a hot shower and a comfortable bed after the hike, it is a great place. If you look for a luxurious hotel, look elsewhere.

The room was spacious and I think newly renovated. Breakfast and dinner in house was substantial. Owner was helpful with our requests. NIL

Emplacelent ideal au milieu de la nature et à 2 pas de sites incroyable Great location, at 2 miles from wonderful natural sites (gorges du Verdon, Moustier Sainte Marie.. ). Ideal for those who love nature and great places to drop your bags for 2 days or more Le "bruit" des moutons, à 2 pas du village de la Palud sur Verdon ?? The "noze" made by the sheeps ??? at 2 feet from La Palud sur Verdon

There was a nice service man who helped us book a taxi. The building was a bit old and not exactly inside La Palud-sur-Verdon.
