The room i was in..wouldn't cool down. The good thing is that I was spending a lot of time away from the hotel, however if I was there more. I would have asked ro be moved.

Very helpful and cooperative to all our requests.

was delicious and the service attentive on the first night we ate there. Breakfast was adequate but underwhelming. Also, the the second time we ate there, tge staff seemed overwhelmed and it took z very long time to place our order and to receive our food, which remained fabulous.

Enrico provided fabulous all round service including multiple recommendations that were all excellent. Breakfast was excellent and the facilities are gorgeous and well kept. Room was ok but it was a last minute late booking so to be expected.

Room and hotel were beautiful - pool was even better

No neighborhood to walk around in and on a very busy road. So quiet and small … The best thing about this hotel was the dinner at their restaurant. Also, the design throughout rooms and decor is super cool and artistic. Just super quiet and not a great location to walk outside premises or much to do. They also charged to use the spa. Didn’t offer extra amenities or service. Not super friendly but were nice.

Not much to do … not good location morning around property feels like your in a prison gated up .. super quiet. No use of spa unless you pay for it No pool side service Slow restaurant service Not overly helpful or attentive

A unique hotel experience within the grounds of a historical 16th century estate in Viagrande, the center of Etna's wine belt. We were met at the gate by the helpful manager, who assisted us with our luggage and showed us to our rooms. We were able to park our large SUV in their underground garage. The staff were quite helpful in addressing our needs. We found this comfy, quiet, and lordly hotel a perfect place to relax after touring Mt Etna, Zafferana Etnea, Nicolosi, and other villages in the region. The restaurant, iPalici, is superb and must be experienced. The bathroom of one of our two rooms lacked privacy, which may be fine for a couple but less convenient for the three adults who shared the room. The self-serve breakfast was fine and its garden-side ambience is perfect, but lacked the selection typical of other hotels of the same caliber. (I you want eggs, you must request them, wait for service, and pay extra.)

I am going to make this short... no one is perfect, but they handled it perfectly.... there in the middle of heatware, and they made sure we were taken care of. Francisco was the best, and everyone treated us like we were the most important people on the resort. If you have time, go to the restrauant on premise for dinner. There is a also an amazing winery across the street.

This is no doubt the best place to stay to visit Taormina and Catania. We’ve started here our road trip in Sicily. It couldn’t be better. The staff is amazing, very professional and still warm and helpful. If you can’t stay here, at least try the restaurant and take every advice from Martina, the sommelier.

We had the most wonderful 6 nights here. Everything was perfect from the hotel’s beautiful design to the delicious breakfasts and food. My wife had a spa treatment which she said was among the best she’s ever had. Our room was perfect, with a gorgeous balcony. But every hotel is really only as good as its staff and I’m happy to say that we could not have been looked after better by Enrico, Irine, Ludovica, Davido, Marianna and everyone else (please forgive my misspellings!). They are a fabulous team for whom nothing was too much trouble. I can’t praise the Relais San Giuliano highly enough; it was an absolute DREAM. ❤️?

The property itself is quite stunning and beautiful. Breakfast was varied and pleasant too. Our room was quite small. The shower was very small and a large person wouldn’t be able to fit. It was also noisy. We could hear the other guests. No creamer for in room coffee. Extra charges for cooked breakfast and parking.

My room was in a bad location on the street level with only a very high window with a 2 story house next door. No lighting on path. It rained for 2 days & the problem with electrical lights & gym was blamed on the rain.

The property is peaceful and calming. The grounds are lovely and service staff excellent. Nothing to report!

Lovely beautifully renovated luxurious property. Great accommodation 30’ from Catania. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, but would have been nice to have omelettes/eggs/pancakes included in the price of bed&breakfast vs having to pay extra.
