Lori was a really great host. I really enjoyed the tour and chatting with her.

The place was beautiful only down side was the cook did not show up so the grounds keeper and housekeeper had to throw together a make do breakfast for the bed and “breakfast”. Did not get the nice meal we were promised and paid for. But otherwise a nice stay and the staff was sweet and apologetic for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay again.

Delightful stay. Property has so many interesting historical artifacts and a wonderful breakfast with a tour after. We loved the Duff Green Suite with room for a large family

What a lovely bed and breakfast. It is on the historical registry and so beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding! I very much enjoyed a tour of the home given to us by an entertaining and knowledgeable hostess. I would love to stay there again.

Staff were so amazing. Inside the property was so full of history. Outside definitely needs work, which you can see they are working on. I do recommend this place because of the history and also recommended the restaurant/ Hotel near bye called Anchuca. Amazing food etc

Lovely stay in largest suite. I was very disappointed with breakfast, but it was nice to dine with others staying there. Would love to come back

We love the history of Duff Green. Staff is always so friendly. Understanding this is an older historical home I still feel like it needs to be in better shape as far as cleaning an organization. The ice machine in upstairs kitchen has mold growing in it. The room we stayed in isn’t set up correctly. Broken toilet paper holder. Only 2 towels for a room that holds 8 people. There were only 3 of us. By the time we realized it I had to share a towel. Just more organization I think is needed. Little bit more attention to detail. Maybe it’s because the concierge leaves at 6 so no way to get help with anything. We love the people and the history but we will need it to be cleaner and more set up before we will be back again. Don’t let this deter you from visiting. Everyone should experience this historic place at least once. Maybe the other rooms had better attention to detail. First thing first is that ice machine! You can get someone sick from that.

Our stay was fantastic. The property is gorgeous and atmospheric and the staff were great. We stayed in the Hideaway room and really enjoyed the courtyard and pool. Breakfast was very good and served in a beautiful dining room. I wish there was a little more parking room but that is kind of an unavoidable issue. Overall I would strongly recommend the Duff Green Mansion and sister property Halpino without hesitation. Our family only wished we could have stayed longer.

The staff was incredibly friendly. Georgia never made you feel rushed, and lended a helping hand whenever needed. Laurie was great at making sure we checked in easily, she gave an amazing historical tour of the home. Harley kept us updated with texts on what to expect, Breakfast time, evening wine, tour time, ice location etc. I did not catch the names of anyone else but there were lots of staff available to help throughout our stay. Coffee machines (kcup) coffee cups, are available on each guest floor. Water was always filled and cold in a glass water dispenser on each guest floor. Breakfast was served with southern pleasentries, towels were delivered to our room promptly, and we managed to leave a favorite stuffy behind..they saved him for us and were ready to mail it back, thankfully we were coming back through Vicksburg and were able to personally pick it up! The home was beautiful, I felt safe the entire time, we listened to birds chirp the breeze blow, swam in the pool and truly enjoyed the town! ALSO note that vicksburg offers a "passport" if you visit 5 places and get 5 stamps you can collect a Vicksburg t shirt for free, my famly planned to visit these things anyway, so the shirt was a bonus. The Social on Grove St. is a MUST eat restaurant you WON'T regret it! The ice for the bottom floor is in an ice chest outside, this was melted and not good for us. There is an ice machine upstairs in the guest kitchen! Wish I would have known while we were there. There is a mini (enough for two alani's) fridge in the room we stayed in,but it did not keep anything cold. There is a fridge in the guest kitchen upstairs, I would have used it if I had known. Breakfast was a fun experience, but our family was still hungry afterwards. Small dish of fruit and a biscuit first. Plain Grits second. Quiche (one person got sausauge and cheese, the rest of our family got spinach and cheese) slice, but it was small with a piece of bacon third. Dessert, pound cake with whipped cream and a slice of strawberry for the final. The biscuit was fantastic, the fruit was fresh, the grits were not my favorite, the quiche seemed like store bought, the bacon was perfect, the cake was good. Our family was looking for more buiscuts and gravey, eggs, toast, bacon. They had Orange juice, cranberry juice, coffee, and water available to drink with enough glasses for everyone. My daughter did get a glass with lipstick on it still. I would still stay here, I would still attend breakfast, it was still a fantastic experience! Just some things to note that could help your stay be even better!

The lady that was working the night we checked in was excellent. She gave us free reign of any of the amenities we would like to use. She also told us the story of the house and where to eat in town.

This house is so neat. Everything is so pretty. The breakfast was wonderful. The tour was incredibly informative. Don't only stay one day. And make sure you stay more than Sunday (nothing in town is open. ;) )

Lori is the crown jewel of duff green , she was beyond helpful and she made our stay amazing. Lori was so helpful , knowledgeable and accommodating. The breakfast staff was great, dining in such a beautifully decorated parlor was the perfect way to start our morning. Our room was large and comfortable. We will always stay at the Duff Green when we come to Vicksburg from now on.

The whole property was clean, the decor was amazing and seeing all the history was amazing. The breakfast staff was very nice and served a yummy southern breakfast. Parking was easy, right in the property. We stayed in the Siege room on the 3rd floor and really only had 1 flight of stairs from the upper parking. Tour after breakfast was cool.
