Great location for a visit to Vicksburg. The location was the deciding factor when we booked as the accommodation is basic, but it was clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation gives you what you would expect for the price.

It was simple and clean and close to downtown They turned off the elevator at 11:00 and didn’t turn it back on until 7:00 the next morning. This is totally unacceptable we wanted to leave early but couldn’t because we were locked in!

Peeled paints on walls, not clean walls, balcony needs work like fresh paints.

Considering that the area is a flux of changes, for the better. It was centrally located, and I was able to explore downtown and local parks with little effort. Plenty of eating and drinking options, even on a Sunday. The place looked and felt sketchy and battered, but they seemed to be working on cleaning it up. You can tell it is used by out-of-town workers and people like me looking for a one-night stay before moving along. My bolt lock needed some coaxing because the top of the door was bent, but the room had everything you needed to stay in, including a fridge, microwave, and coffee.

Our stay was okay until the next morning when my husband got upland went into the bathroom. He was "attacked " by a large cockroach. We knew then we would never stay here again.

Arrival had to wait for someone to come to the front desk for a good 5-7 minutes. Elevators unclean, with odor. Studio/kitchenette room for two guests: one chair at desk their for where are you supposed to sit down to talk and enjoy your meal together. Staff are polite when you do see them speaking of the husband and wife team. Housekeeping I had to wipe down the walls, toilet and dust from headboard and etc
