Good location, clean hotel, beautiful view Staff was not very friendly and wifi didn’t work in the room

Easy location near the center of town and lovely views. The pool was empty when we arrived, and that information had not been made clear on booking.com. It was way down the bottom of the list of things to know. When we spoke to the staff about it, they try to make out that it was so cold There in April that you wouldn’t need a pool and that it was going to rain tomorrow anyway so why worry? The whole point for us is that it’s a holiday and we want a swimming pool. Why don’t they empty it and clean it in February when it is actually cold?

It is a beautiful spot with fabulous views. The staff are so accommodating & extra nice. The restsurant has delicious food. Views, gorgeous terrace

A Dream Come True: A Glorious Stay at the Aequa Hotel! September 2025 I can't begin to tell you how much my daughter and I loved the Aequa Hotel! Beautiful room, fabulous views from our seaside balcony, lovely gardens, beautiful restaurant, and very delicious meals. From the moment we arrived, we were treated wonderfully. The staff was most gracious and always made us feel special. Ever since I was a 4-year old, I had always wanted to stay at the Aequa. My mother was born in Vico Equense, so we visited her family often. I remember seeing the hotel, its pool, and gardens, and asking my parents why we weren't staying there instead of my Nonno & Nonna's house. My dream came true this September and it was everything I hoped it would be! We will certainly be returning, and I would like to make it a yearly event. Bravo, Aequa Hotel! I wish I were there right now! There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Beautiful location, amazing staff, good breakfast! I didn’t like that you can’t bring any outside food or drinks

The breakfast was very poor, and put us off eating in the hotel restaurant. Juices were watered down, pastries were are cooked from frozen no taste. The worst breakfast in the six hotels we stayed in whilst touring Italy.

Friendly staff who we only too happy to arrange transport and a day trip. Quite basic accommodation but totally adequate.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. The location is great, we really liked the town. It’s a perfect place to set off to explore the local area and sites such as Pompeii. The hotel was nice, a little dated in parts, but fit our needs well.

Very friendly, helpful staff, and good value for money. Excellent position in town near many restaurants. Very small room. No bar or restaurant, although large events room is used as a breakfast room in the morning..

Great location to visit either Pompeii, herculaneum or sorrento. Short walk to train station. Quality english or continental breakfast served daily. Very helpful staff. Good sized and well maintained rooms.

Our room was absolutely amazing we had the full view of the mountains and city ahead of us and our outdoor balcony was huge! Pool was really nice and clean a lot of space for people to sunbathe. Breakfast was nice. Pool service could have been abit better with coming round checking if people wanted more drinks often instead of having to go up to people to ask.

Small town with great restaurants close to Hotel. Perfect view from the room to the coast and pool. Would prefer if coffee to be made by someone from personnel not coffee machine. Overall all other things was great.
