Astoria Vico Hotel

Loved the property. Really convenient location near the train station. Delicious breakfast and very friendly staff with always someone at the lobby in case we needed help Liked everything

The location of the hotel is great (just next to train and bus station). The breakfast was limited choice but overall we enjoy it. The sea view from the window was magic. I love to come back to the same hotel.

Perfect location - Vico Equense is beautiful and homey. The staff are helpful and polite. Nice breakfast. The hotel located near the train station, and therefor it is very convenient to get to anywhere, and particularly Sorento. Nothing. Perfect.

Clean, small hotel with adequate breakfast. The staff were so kind and helpful and spoke great English. Close to trains and busses for easy exploring of the area, and don’t miss exploring Vico Equense too! We upgraded to a room with a view (view is stunning!), but the room itself was VERY small. If you have more than a carryon size luggage it could be a challenge to fit everything access your clothing.

The staff were great and super friendly!! The view from the hotel balcony was beautiful and overall great value for money!

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and located right next to the train station. Breakfast is good.

Excellent hotel to stay in, with great view of Vesuvius! Excellent breakfast, and great location near the train station and good restaurants. Hotel rooms at front of hotel a little bit loud just because of their proximity to the road, but did not take away from the excellence of the hotel overall.

This is our second stay at the Astoria. The breakfast room was remodeled beautifully. The staff is very helpful. We will stay again if we ever travel to the area again.

Breakfast room was spotlessly clean and the food was well presented and delicious. Carlos was a gem. The only thing was the tiny showers - obviously not built for big Americans - my husband had a hard time in the shower. There was also a lot of mildew in the shower that is easily cleaned by using a bleach.

Breakfast room was excellent with views of Mount Vesuvius. The man who was there every day was amazing. All staff very friendly. Train station right next door to get to Sorrento & Pompeii (although the trains are challenging with how busy they are). Better staying here than in Sorrento as very busy. Lovely town. It would of been nice to have tea/coffee in room and a fridge but only minor.

The staff were so nice and helpful. it was so close to the train station. They had everything you could need to explore Sorrento. It was so close to the train station/ buss station that it started to get noisy in the morning.

The Hotel is located next to the train station which was ideal for Sorrento and Naples. The hotel staff were all so helpful and the housekeeping staff were excellent. Lovely breakfast with a great selection.

Location was decent and walkable to the center of town. Located next to the bus depot also makes it easy to get to the beach and marina No elevator. The charm of Vico Equenese is not captured with the look and feel of this hotel or its rooms. The rooms are very blandly decorated. Owners should have used the beautiful tiles and colors that Italy and the area use in much of their structures. Bright colors that make Naples and the Amalfi Coast a true Italian coastal paradise. Room was clean but it did have ants. Staff sprayed bug spray, but should have and use ant traps, which work more efficiently. Pillows on bed were very flat and not comfortable. Linens on bed felt rough and stiff. The towels also felt rough to the skin. Lastly, it’s difficult to carry suitcases up and down for anyone that doesn’t have the ability. Staff assisted with bringing suitcases up. But they were not always available to do so. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This helped make the stay more pleasant
