location and pool staff was rude they take your key back if you leave the property don't give towels to use for the pool so we used the towels from our room and then they wouldn't give us clean ones to shower Couldn't open the umbrellas or move the chairs around at the pool too many stupid rules and regulations will never stay here again

The owner/manager of the hotel is super rude and disrespectful

Its view. From the get go, the poorly trained receptionist rush through the checkin process, like he couldn't get rid off me soon enough. When I got to my room, that's when I realize that they do not have wifi in the room (how backwards). When I really had to use the wifi in the lobby(the only place you get wifi) I was verbally assaulted/abused by the manager of the hotel, because he didn't like the fact that I was lying on the couch (minding my own business, as I am the only guest in the lobby), I asked him to at least conduct himself nicely, and professionally, he basically said he is the manager of the hotel, and he has the final say on how he would like to conduct himself (in his pyjama), when I confronted he on how he was treating me as guest. At one point he even used hand gestures trying to belittle me and shut me down, despite that fact the other overnight reception staff was trying to diffused the situation (he was actually nice and pleasant throughout the entire time, except when he lied to me about his manager's name).

The view is amazing. We didn’t feel welcome at the hotel. Next to this, we stayed for two nights and we woke up three times in the middle of the night because of someone of the staff was screaming something in Italian in a speaker that could have woken the entire hotel. The breakfast is also very limited.

If you are planning to use public transport to Sorrento or anywhere else I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. You have to walk 30 minutes to the nearest train station and it is a hill climbing when you are going to the hotel and there is almost no sidewalks so you have to walk on the road which is dangerous. I had to do that with my luggage and it wasn’t the best. Don’t trust google maps like i did because there is no bus from the train station to the hotel. I think it only runs 3 or 4 times a day and there is no exact schedule for it and finding the bus stops are impossible I could say that. Also the breakfast had almost no options. There is nothing nearby to grab food and the bar in the hotel closes at 10 and it only have couple of sandwiches. The wifi was only available at the common areas, I didn’t pay attention while booking it but if wifi is important to you keep that in mind

Gorgeous view from our room. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast options available. Friendly staff and beautiful cat, Perla. Easy access off highway with free parking. Good location for visiting Sorrento and Amalfi coast by car.

The view was superb, with a private balcony for enjoying the view and breeze. Breakfast was sufficient, but not extraordinary. Our room was very comfortable, though small. the difficulty was other meals. The hotel was far from any restaurants in the off season and was adamant that no food could be brought into the hotel. Roads are skinny and winding, so driving any distances for meals is a challenge. What is one to do?

The view was amazing and the location was very good for exploring the Amalfi coast. We loved their cat Perla as well. The breakfast could be better.

Compared to the prices for hotels in Sorrento, the price was pretty cheap. It was a pleasant surprise to find ourselves in a nice old hotel with a vibe reminiscent of the last century. The view from the balcony was STUNNING! The facilities were ok, everything was clean. Breakfast is pretty good for Italy. I suppose the hotel can only be reached by car, which wasn't a problem for us - we drove everywhere. We decided to stay in for a drink - the bartender was slow and weird, the whole vibe was a bit funny even, my Negroni was so large I couldn't finish it though :)

The view was the best part of the place. The staff was incredibly rude and intimidating. I never felt safe there. They barged in my room without permission and threatened to call the cops after calling the room multiple times all because I had a friend helping me after a scary situation. They were not empathetic at all and demanded he leave even after they took his identification and we offered to pay for him. The staff also make you turn in your key every day even if you're just going to the pool. The pool hours are weird times from 11:15 a.m. to 7 pm so if you want to take a swim in the morning you can't. There's weird rules such as not eating in your room and having to call the front desk for them to turn on the a .c. The hotel is also at the top of a hill and not super close to public transit or restaurants.
