Dimora del Conte Sorrento coast seaview

We had a wonderful stay at Dimora Del Conte! The view from the castle is simply stunning.

A beautiful apartment and the best view I have ever had anywhere -Vesuvius in all its glory and the next town over from the sea to the mountains. Worth every penny for the view alone. Splurge for the two bedroom apartment to have your own private balcony and the best view. I'm usually a frugal traveler but glad I took the plunge for this one! The apartment itself was also beautiful, with crazy high ceilings and beautiful period furnishings (19th century villa style) and lots of space. The only drawback is the exhausting walk uphill to get there. If you walk through Seiano (keep to the right when the road splits instead of following the traffic to the left up the hill) it is far less painful. There are busses that go up and down the hill, but they are few and far between. The host helped my husband and a neighbor rescue a kitten that was trapped in a hole outside our bathroom window, so kudos to him! All in all a lovely stay! Nothing but the hill!

The view from the balcony and windows were superb. Not a recommendable experience! Overprized, freezing cold with multiple poweroutages, so not suitable for the winter period. Also the way the apartment had been "renovated" with many strange and cheap solutions made it feel like a fraud. Booring breakfast. Left us with an overall feeling of being cheated.

Location, host Enzo, his passion about being a chef/winemaker and sharing this with us. We were treated with such respect that we were in tears when we said good buy. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Amazing host and beautiful property and views Transport was an issue

The location is really with a fantastic breathtaking panorama on the coastline & Vesuvius mountain from the terrace. From all places we have stayed during our holidays at the beautiful Amalfi coast, this was the best one, which will always stay in our memory. Host Vincenzo is the best host we have ever had, so much passion & love for what he does. He is the host which will stay in (y)our memory, doing everything for you to make it an exceptional experience. He also gives cooking lessons on his terrace, where he invited us to join & eat with the group: unforgettable, you are great Vincenzo, keep going this way & we will come back to you for sure. Grazie for everything Vincenzo! NOTHING, everything was exceptionally fantastic!

Such a wonderful hospitality and awsome view

The view from this location is unbeatable. The owner was hospitable and personable, ready to help us enjoy our stay in any way possible. I took an incredible cooking class from him and enjoyed the instruction and banter. The ambiance alone is worth a stay! We opted to use public transport because it didn’t appear that parking would be easy. We did a lot of walking to and from the beach and the train to get to Sorrento. Once we checked in, the owner told us an easier way to get to and from the train station where we didn’t have to walk along the road, making it a much more comfortable commute. The views from our room were absolutely worth the walking!

A wonderful castle, kind, warm, helpful hospitality, crazy amount of sugar. I loved it. ? There were no tools to keep the bathroom clean. It would be lucky to put a mop set in the apartment. We didn't ask for it, it's just an observation, good advice, not criticism.

The location and especially the view was exceptional. The breakfast was fine but little too simple, one croiisant and a coffee may not be enoughfor some visitors A beter brakfast would have been more acceptable.

The hosts are so welcoming and friendly. Rnzo picked us up from the train station ?The view from our room and the terrace is out of this World! You cannot better it. Views of Naples Bay and Vesuvius are stunning! Lovely modern fresh room. The shower was fab, very powerful 10/10 ? It's a 15min walk from the train station up a hill to the house and 15mins walk to the harbour of Seiano. We took the boat to Capri (as Enzo suggested)from the harbour which was great. It avoided going into the busy harbour at Sorrento. Its also only 12mins by train to Sorrento and tickets are only €2.40 one way. The flat screen tv also has Netflix so we able to watch from our UK account. We would 100% stay here again. Grazie ! The pillows were uncomfortable

Great location, excellent view, helpful staff Lack of amenities like soap and shampoo and also bathroom needs a small renovation

the view The food in general was very bad we were even asked to pay extra for some eggs at the breakfast and dinner was horrible as the staff told us that we were allowed to order What ever we want but didn't cook us what we orders taking us that they doing go to the super market that they cook Everything with what they have at their garden but we had scalops meaning that it doesn't make any sense as if they didn't go to the supermarket they couldn't buy the scalops meaning that they totally forgot about the order whet we eat was basically all made with flour exept for the scalops and when he was deciding the final price he said he would check the price on the drinks but didn't do so, if not just randomly give a price for each person which was 30 Euros each, for what we ate if was very much over priced. The rooms were very dirty as when the airconditioning was turned on there would be dust and black powder falling off of the airconditioning. As well as there was only one bathroom for 3 rooms meaning that we would have to wait a lot to go to the toilet.

The view was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful The location was very challenging if you don’t have a car.

If you’re not coming by a car you do have a walking distance to train/ferry, in summer time not the best but overall it didn’t hurt our experience.

The apartment no AC no elevator!!!!!!! It’s really bad experience to climb up 6 floors with bags and old people!!!!!!!!

Giuseppe was lovely, the Panoramic views of Sorrento absolutely stunning, antique furniture Breakfast was included but it was very light would of liked some fruit, the breakfast was delicious and we did enjoy it just small serving. I used the washing machine and I didn’t know it was out of order water went everywhere. Communication is regards to paying for some lunch would of been appreciated as not all people carry euros.
