DORMitory

There is no blackout curtain. No way to sleep especially summertime. Also since there is no aircondition in the room, not advised to book in summertime. People who stay in hotel talk a lot in the garden. İt is not possible to sleep.since building is old, there is no elevator. İf u have heavy bag, it is not advised also.

Location great, the ambience good. Staff very helpful re getting us settled in and advising re touring. The shared showers and toilets were fine. No problem with noise etc We stayed in about four different properties over ten days, and this was the most expensive. So in terms of “value” it’s a one star…..even though I would stay again at the “ high price “

I liked that it is very well located, the staff was very friendly and the room was spacious enough I knew in advance that there wouldn’t be air conditioning, which is totally on me but we landed at a time where it was very hot and during the night it was kinda hard to sleep because of how hot it was and the fact that no air came into the room even with the windows open wide. I just wish it would be possible to rent/loan fans in those cases

This hostel/dormitory is very nice. Clean, lots of natural light, a courtyard garden and in a good location. The street car runs just outside. Near by is the Franz Josef train station and many shops and cafes. The staff was very nice. everything was good, nothing to dislike

Location was one tram to downtown, very convenient. The place was just like a college dorm, which I really liked. It had everything you needed, and even though bathrooms were shared, my room had a sink which made getting ready for bed really convenient. Half of the men’s showers had an issue with water temperature where the water had 0 cold water - it was scalding hot. And within the shower space there weren’t enough hooks or shelves, they were all in the shared part where I didn’t want to hang my room keys while I showered. And the floors of the room were very very squeaky.

A good value for money in Vienna during peak summer. Simple yet comfy private rooms in a nice location.

For the price I paid there’s nothing to complain

Bedding and room, toilets were clean. Location was great. Garden is so cool. Access to metro and tram.

The property is located in a quiet district close to the Sigmund Freud museum. The rooms aré dormitory style rooms with a bed, desk, and a chair. There is a sink in the room as well. The stay was very quiet and Andy helped us get situated with our room nicely. The walk to old town is about 20 minutes. it is also about 20 minutes to the very reasonably priced park and ride garage. If you drive, you may want to drop your bags off first and then go park as the parking garage is in a bit sketchy part of the north end of town near the river. there are a lot of shared bathrooms and they are clean.

Good value in Vienna. It is a college dorm room . Close to Sigmund Freud House and good restaurants. Good place to stay if you are not looking for high end accommodations.
