H+ Hotel Wien

The hostel looks brand new with each set of two bunks having its own en-suite. Lockers for personal belongings. Shower gel and hand was provided. Hairdryer available on request etc. Very clean and really well designed. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with so much choice. I would say that a lot of thought has been put into this hostel and have never stayed in any that have the comfort we experienced. Everything was better than we expected for the price we paid and would not hesitate to stay there again. The only thing that could have been better was the room key situation as they are having a technical problem at the moment were we experienced our key stopped working several times however a trip to the reception desk each time got us a new card that worked. Also I had a technical problem with the check-in link that didn't work so they asked me to check in on arrival instead, but then it appears that we different bunk numbers allocated so caused them a bit of confusion as they thought we had left early but after a couple of phone calls it was dealt with. I am sure those minor problems will be worked out (probably a new system) as the whole experience apart from that minor problem was fantastic and would not let it put me off staying there again. It was about a half hour walk into the main city however the transport system is very good so you do not have to walk if you prefer to use public tranport or a taxi.

We booked a bunk bed in a dorm of 10 beds and wow! Each bunk bed has it’s own kind of private space with storage, bathroom (!!) and curtain. So you kinda feel like in your own little room. Each bed had it’s own little light, lots of storage with integrated locker, super clean and modern bathroom. For the rest of the hotel, the included breakfast was great. It’s a buffet and there’s lots of options! The food was fresh and tasty. Welcoming staff, super quiet hotel in general - older crowd. Even in the dorm we barely heard anyone. Location is good, not the best for still walkable to the center and near some metro stations. If you want a nice, quiet stay at a better price than most hotels in the city, it’s the place for you! I wish there was a bigger loby space. There’s a small loby with some chairs but there’s not really a big communual space in the hotel to just sit and chill or take a call for exemple. No big deal but just wanted to point it out.

I had a good stay at the hotel. The location is not far from the city center, there are two tram stops nearby that can get you pretty much anywhere. The room was not as small as I excpected, and it was relatively clean, but it lacks all the basic amenities that you'd expect in a typical 4 star hotel room. I understand that this is more of a budget chain in Austria, and for the price I paid, I'm not too fussed. I felt safe but because of where my room was situated (near the elevators) it could get loud at night. The area the hotel is located in felt very safe and there's a great Spar branch nearby. - Needs basic amenties like kettle, iron etc. - Cleanliness is not bad but could be improved. - Extra door bolt/stopper to increase feeling of safety.

Nearby restaurants that we tried and the food was great ex D'Landsknecht, Highlander at about 15 minutes walking from the hotel. Also the breakfast from the hotel was very nice with plenty of options considering we were with two kids, from pancakes, pastry, sorts of cheese, fresh orange/apple juice, eggs etc. Because we were four members we didn't find the option for an apartment. So we had to split in two separate rooms, and the rooms are not to big. But in the end we got used to it, most of the time we were in the city to see the main attractions so only to get a shower and a good sleep was enough. Also the price was a little high for three nights, but we did the reservation only with a week before our trip, so if we will have the chance to go back with another occasion we will try to book it earlier.

Quite,people were friendly,close to the transportation I were satisfied. I was satisfied everything was okay.

Clean, comfortable, good beakfast, coffee machine in the room, a very nice gesture. The Stuff very polite and helpful like u would expect anywhere in Wien. I feel like all the things that could bother in a hotel like a small bath, or very small room or no window that opens... are avoided at this hotel.

It was located in a quiet neighborhood (and the rooms were very well isolated) and the extensive and diverse breakfast buffet. Inability to ensure/reserve parking space

Everything was perfect and absolutely worth the money — 100% value for what paid.

I did not like that it lacked a fridge

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very nice. The parking price is too high. We managed to find parking place outside for free during weekend but the hotel parking should be cheaper.

New towels after one day would have been good, and giving the room a quick clean.

Friendly staff and the location is good. The breakfast was good with few option and if you want omelet then you have to pay. The breakfast could be better

Very friendly staff and very good breakfast. 30 minute walk to center of old town and 20 minutes to museums.

The location was great for me and the price was great. Scrupulously clean. No coffee in room.
