In a renovated historic building dating from 1876, this modern hostel is just 164 feet from the Mariahilfer Straße shopping street and a 5-minute walk from the U3 and U6 Westbahnhof Underground Station. It offers free WiFi in public areas and a garden with a seating area. There is also a small kitchen space with microwave, fride and sink and a vending machine, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. In the common area, guests can watch satellite TV and play tabletop football. The 24-hour reception provides free city maps and brochures. City Hostel Westend’s simply furnished rooms feature a seating area. Bathrooms are private or shared. A children’s playground is 328 feet away. The city center can be reached within a 20-minute walk. The hostel is only 3 stops on the U3 underground line to Vienna's city center. Garage parking is located round the corner. Mixed dormitories with reasonable prices (age restrication in dormitories; please ask for private or familiy room, when you are older than 40 yeares old)

This was the bare minimum to live. People coming in and out at all hours. 19E for washing clothes??

There is a vegan shop nearby. Backwerk nearby for 06:30 A.M. breakfast. Good location overall. Bro, there’s no Steckdosen. Well, there’s one, for 6 people… It’s 2026 and we really have 1 outlet for the whole room xD The common area has a really dinky vibe to it, you can’t comfortably do laptop work there. Knee-high children’s tables, etc. Showers are volume flow rate restricted… yet somehow they still clog.

Handy location, clean facilities and comfy beds. Good pricing. A little out of the main city but honestly one-three train stops and you are in the main city. So not really a con. Place was always kept nice and tidy Stairs to carry a bag, but thats in a lot of place in Europe so not really the fault of the hostel

Nice staff, also it’s right next to the supermarket and a train station. I wish they had a stove.

The rooms, kitchen and common area are clean. We were 4 friends in a 4 bedroom room, it was comfortable for us. There were even a super delicious chocolate cake offered to the guests. Unfortunately, for safety reasons there are no sockets near the upper bed, but the rest was good. I recommend it!

The charge 5 euros for the key in cash and I didn’t have cash. So be prepared for this payment. Another guest took my bed due to lack of information and attention of him. I didn’t know about locked to use in the room, they could have mentioned that before.

-They offer free effective earplugs at reception that nullify all sound like snoring and movement from other guests when you go to sleep. - The electrical sockets were on each end of the 11 bed dorm room, next to one bed respectfully, so if this bed wasn't yours, you would feel uneasy leaving your phone to charge there.

the position is exceptional, right by the metro! everything was nice! there's no sockets by the bed which was a little inconvenient, but nothing too bad!

I stayed at mixed dorm and there are some annoying men talking all night. But this is not their problem

Hostel staff are great. Beds are good. Rooms were clean. Kitchen is Not very equiped, it is just microwave, kettle, fridge and sink. The sockets in room for charging are far from beds.

It was in a great location, you can easily get to the city center by walking, also the metro station is close. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, also the bathroom was totally okay. The price was really good, compared to others. The staff was kind. -

The hotel staff was great, but the general community was awful. And there is no privacy curtain or anything like that at all.
