Easy self-check-in, very basic room with a table, chair and okay bed. The rooms are part of a standard Viennese apartment, broken down to separate rooms, there is also a kitchenette with a few dishes available - which is convenient for longer stays perhaps. The codes for access worked well. This was luckily a room with a window to the street (beware of the budget one with a window to the corridor that everyone entering/existing the apartment passes by. Clean spacious showers. As I visited in the summer, the room was too warm. Opening the window meant street noise. The shading of the light with curtain did not work so well. Instruction not to use showers between 23 and 7 were nice from the perspective of night silence, but the instruction to use the ground floor shower instead (for late arrivals / early departures) was confusing, as those showers had the same instruction not to use it too late or too early. The hotel location is safe and in the middle of a relatively peaceful district, but quite some walk from Wien Meidling station (with heavy luggage) unless one waits for the nearby bus. Wi-fi worked well.

Rooms were fine, a paper towel under bed but nothing insane, sheets were clean. I didnt mind some oversights for the very good price The shared bathrooms were a bit worse for wear, but nothing we couldnt live with for a night.

Check in process is complicated with 3 different codes

Very helpful reception staff. Appears to be well maintained for the guests- clean facilities and quiet. Good security. Should have been cheaper/night. No other issues .

The location isn't great. Public transport was a must.

The hostel was exceptionally clean, and all the essentials like towels and body wash were readily available. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. Even after we checked out, they safely stored our luggage and kindly allowed us to use the washroom to freshen up before our departure. Outstanding hospitality!

The only real pro here is that it is cheap. The beds are soft and comfortable, and well built - I thought the wooden bedframes were quite unique and pretty, and the provided bedding was clean. Towels are provided. The place itself is not clean at all. The common areas are filthy and smell bad (reminded me strongly of cat litter when I first walked through the doors…) and the walls are dirty. Placing 3 air fresheners in the room will not hide the thick layer of dust and grime on the skirtings and in the corners… it’s just gross. I’m fine with the self service aspect of everything, I’m happy to make up and strip my own bedding and all that, and I appreciate the cheap price point but it should at least be clean to a reasonable standard. The toilets are SUPER gross…. I’m glad I was only here for one night because I don’t think I could have dealt with it for any longer. It’s also not sound proof at all and you can hear everything happening. I was lucky in that the other people staying there were fairly quiet but this is definitely something to note. Also on another note (and I am saying this as a final year veterinary student with a deep personal focus on animal welfare) - do something about your abysmal and appalling fish tanks. They are some of the worst I have seen, completely inappropriate and disgustingly maintained. If you want to have fish then at the very least do them the basic courtesy of doing your research and looking after them properly, or consult an expert in the matter. Just because they cannot scream or show their distress DOES NOT make this blatant animal cruelty acceptable. Do better, especially in a public place like the hostel common room? I lost so much respect seeing these animals disrespected and neglected like this. Absolutely shocking and NOT ok.

my room is big and clean you will hear the noise from outside

the stay was okay, the bed was clean and just as expected, the whole hostel was spacious with a lot of rooms and bathrooms, big plus for the plug in the bed area and lockers with codes for storing stuff and a table with chairs in the room as well as a mirror, free towels also always appreciated I was quite surprised I had to put the pillow case and cover case on the duvet - especially since I checked in late I made quite a ruckus which couldve been avoided had it been done in advance additionally in my room alongside the standard double beds there was one pull out bed in the middle of the room which was quite uncomfortable for me when for example I needed to kneel next to the person on the bed while taking stuff out of my locker
-
On the second night I was surprised to see someone sleeping on a floor bed right on the way as i go to my bunk bed, awful.

the people were very nice it was pretty dirty, the man and woman running it were in and out of the room while I was trying to get ready in the morning. Doesen't really look like the pictures. There was a bunch of junk stacked up everywhere in the house and in the outside area. There is no shower in the women's room, so you have to go all the way across the hostel past the reception and through common areas to shower. Not much room to put your stuff. without crowding the room. Small lockers only big enough for valubles not all of your stuff, and theres no where really to put other stuff.

The room would benefit from having more sockets

The room is clean and the location is very quiet. Maybe the water heater is little bit hard to use, sometimes too hot or not heating.
-
Possibly itineraries are provided Bedsheet was dirty (it had blood stains)

I really liked the property. The lady at the reception was also arranged me a female room even though I was booked a mixed one. It was very clean and comfortable. Thank you!

The room itself wasn't anything special but it got the job done. Good enough for me for three nights. Didn't really meet anybody who was in charge of the place. The location in terms of walkability wasn't ideal, about a 45-1 hour walk to the city centre depending on the places that you want to go.

It was perfect for a budget trip. The rooms were very clean and quiet. There were curtains around the bunk beds so privacy was provided. Lockers designated to everyone. Shared kitchen and dining table which would allow you to prepare meals very comfortably. Extra restrooms and showers in the hallway with hair dryer provided. Very nice staff. Everything was ready self sufficient and you could honestly be on your own just fine. I would absolutely recommend this hostel, through my travels all around Europe, this one was the most comfortable and efficient one!
