I was woken up by a knocking at my door in the middle of the night; seeing two men standing there terrified me so much that I left that very night.

I booked the hotel for 2 nights. At first night I arrived around 11.30 pm . Got my room . I felt im itching all night in my bed . Talked to front desk in early morning they suggest to change my room when I came back to pick up my stuff. I find roach in my room and went to the second room in early morning around 8 o’clock. I find more roaches in the second room I came back to front desk front desk asked me to talk on the phone with the general manager, which I did. She was so mean and told me I can leave if I want and she refuse to pack the money to me for the first night. I check out on this second day before 11 o’clock the meaning of on the second day I didn’t have even the room. I’m still struggling to take my money back. It was the worst experience. I definitely never back to that hotel.

My W and I stayed 2 nights for the DC Pen show (don't judge). What struck us the most was the overwhelming LACK of common items & amenities found in every other hotel. This was a SUITE with empty cabinets. No pots -pans -forks -bowls -mugs -coffee maker (WHAT!?!?) Yes, no coffee maker. Even seedy hotels have electric kettles & puck coffee with foam cups. No room safe & no hangers in the closet. None. Who travels with hangers? Other reviewers said a lot of what we experienced, The MGMT responded with "Items can be requested so we can provide them clean and ready to use." Wrong answer, MGMT. Items should be in the suite & staff should be trained to make sure items are ready. Now for complaints: Between AC cycles, the unit sounded like a powerwasher on a car right outside our window. All. Night. Long. The mattress was on a wire frame & sounded like a seal on a wet inner tube whenever we moved. The cover came off like other reviews. The 3 thin pillows for 2 people were inadequate. My kitchen sponge is thicker. Bathroom door couldn't open past halfway before sticking to the floor. Stained towels & uncomfortable chairs. Overall like a hotel running down & not replacing items just to save a dollar. Checking in, I had to ask for a second key for my W. Positives: best TV remote I've ever used in a hotel! Responsive, intuitive, & worked every time! Full size fridge was cold. That's it.

Because I was only staying for one night to attend a baby shower, I initially overlooked these issues. However, when I removed the bed covers, I found hair in the bedding as well. At that point, I called the front desk. A staff member came to the room, and I showed him all of the issues. I explained that I had already used my own disinfecting wipes to clean the toilet seat just so I could use the bathroom. He was wearing the same pair of gloves and carrying the same cleaning cloth throughout the visit. I showed him the kitchen, and he used the same cloth to wipe the stove and the countertop. When I pointed out the dirty floor, he wiped that as well. Then we went to the bed. I asked for a clean set of sheets so I could replace them myself. Instead of providing fresh linens, he asked me to show him the hair. Using the same gloves he had worn while cleaning the kitchen and the floor, and the same cleaning cloth, he simply picked the visible hair off the bedding and then left the room without bringing clean sheets. This response was unacceptable/unhygienic. I should not have had to clean parts of the room myself, nor should I have been expected to sleep on bedding that had not been properly changed.

Bathroom was not clean, toilet especially. Closer to a public restroom than one at a hotel.

Our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean and had a bad odor. Instead of proper toiletries like body wash, we were only provided with a small bar of soap. The breakfast options were extremely limited, consisting only of muffins. Most concerningly, the bedsheets were unclean, which caused my kids to develop rashes. I cannot recommend this hotel."

The cleanliness, the breakfast was terrible, they couldn’t give me another pillow; the pillows were flat and the mattress was extremely hard. In addition, the AC unit wasn’t able to properly regulate the temp in the room.

The location of this property was great. This location could use some upgrading. To start, for a "Extended Suite", the room was small and there were no utensils/plates/cups/cookware available. These items should be included in the "Extended Suite".
