Space Home Apartment - City Center

I have been to many hostels and budget stays and this one has been the least comfortable and I would not return. Smells bad, especially in shower area. AC was running and dripped water onto the bench, i came and someone else had taken my cabin, which they said they took mine because someone had taken their cabin. So I took a different cabin myself. There seem to be hand towels around but all of them were used and so I did not have a towel for the shower. Staff was communicative but they don’t seem to know what is available or not (e.g. not able to help with the cabin shuffle situation, they told me to check a certain place for more towels but there were none there). I wish that instead of investing in individual TVs for each pod/cabin or weird spaceship theme I wish they just focused on providing basic amenities like towels and cleanliness, and maybe designed a better system for people to not take your pod/cabin that you are assigned.

Lovely, central location! Really clean! The mattress was pretty much non existent- genuinely felt like we were sleeping on the ground - same with the pillow - may as well not have had one! The capsule was SO hot, so so so hot even with the air on full blast!

I liked having your private space in a hostel. Though do not expect the same Japanese capsule experience. It is clean place but do not expect spotless cleaning. The lock of the locker that was assigned to my bed was "broken". (I could have fixed it if I had wrench) therefore I could not use it.

Each of us was provided with some additional locker to store a luggage or some clothes. I would not call it necessary a benefit but better than nothing. The cells themselves were relatively spacious. The showers had only cold water! I tried two different showers, stood in each of them for 5+ mins with running water and the water was cold.. sorry, but for a hostel offering cells for 40+ eur in Vienna this is unacceptable for me in the 21st century. Also, I did not mind this as much as a man but the bathrooms were shared.

The bathroom was clean, the showers were good and hot, the check in was easy. The capsules are poorly maintained. None of the buttons were working inside the capsule. I had to choose between turning off the light in the capsule (which also turned off the AC inside) or sleeping with the light on. You can't lock the capsule from the outside. The power outlets didn't really work. I had to hold my charger inside firmly for it to charge my phone. I don't see what is the reason to rent faulty capsules because it hurts the overall experience. In my opinion this place is Not recommended, you can find better facilities in Vienna for the same price.

The light switch in our pod was not working, and the only option was to turn off the power completely, which also stopped the ventilation and made it feel quite suffocating. Since it was winter, we managed, but it would have been very difficult to spend the night in warmer weather.

It was a fun and different experience. When we stayed we didn’t have many other guests to be waited for bathrooms. Someone opened the locker which I locked with a key (hostel locker), and took my gold plated jewelries, cross body bag and power bank. They locked back as never happened. It was very unfortunate.

The automatic lights were annoying at night, the doors to the bed spaces are very loud and disruptive at night

Overall good idea, big space in capsules. Clean toilets The key for the lockers are the same! I accidentally opened another locker with my key and realised it opens them all! So I had to sleep with my luggage in my capsule. Also towels were very small.

Location is perfect for tourist

Was not provided a bedsheet so I slept on a stained mattress.

The place is really noisy. They safe didn't work and after 2 or 3 tries I was made to put my staffs in the locker. There were people hanging in the hallway or waiting for something which is not cool when you have no privacy and sound isolation

It was very clean and had a lot of room in the capsule We couldn’t shut of the mirror light and had to sleep with it on. There was a video explaining how to use the capsule but didn’t have much information.

The place was located at a semi central spot, where you could get to anywhere at most 20-30mim. The capsules were private and it felt somewhat comfortable for 2 nights stay. The provided lockers are useful though little small and the day you check-out you can keep the luggage there until 18. It was also really easy to check-in. Washrooms were nice for a hostel at this price point. It's also really cheap compared to other places in Vienna. + Convenient self check-in + Private + Easy to store luggage + Cheap Everything is noisy, from lockers to the capsule doors to the A/C inside, they all are SO LOUD. They do provide ear mufflers but still, it can be unbearable. During the first night somebody came at 3am made lot of noise, I could hear everyone wake up because of it. The lights on the buttons inside the capsule do not turn off, which accompanied with the noise makes it hard to sleep. Lockers are nice provided your luggage actually fits - the lockers are typical high school lockers, they are tall but not really spacious. You can't store your luggage in the capsule because you can't lock it. Capsule is also small, for reference I am around 175 cm and it was still pretty tight height wise. There is also no staff on-site. - Noisy - Not comfortable and tight pods - Luggage storage small - No staff in case of problems - No kitchen or place to eat

Amazing for solo travellers on budget or short trip

Fan was very loud, air conditioning not working properly. I needed to leave the door partially open after reducing fan speed to acceptable noise level during the night.
