Location is away from tourist hot spots which I liked. Very comfortable and clean I did not have hot water for nearly 3 days. As the weather was not good during this time, it would have been nice to have had warm showers. It took me 24 hours to report this thinking that hot water might have been on a timer. I felt that for the cost of the stay, I could have been offered alternative accommodation as there were quite a few vacant units on the site

We didn’t have any breakfast provided by the accommodation we were self catering. There were adequate facilities for cooking a meal. We cooked breakfast ourselves a few times and went out for breakfast a few times. We ate out each night for our evening meal. Lots of very good restaurants around the Marina serving delicious food. We thought there was a snack bar on site. But found it was closed during our stay. Would have been nice to have a snack and a drink while sunbathing around the pool area.

Familiar surroundings as my third time staying here and it doesn’t disappoint No bar open at any time even for an hour or two would be nice to grab a cold beer or an ice cream by the beautiful pool and gardens

Nice quiet area 15 min walk to the beach Restaurants in the area very basic You would need to go to the centre about a 15-minute walk to have a better choice.

The location was excellent, lovely stroll into quarteira, supermarket 5 min from apartment. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were staying in an apartment across the road from the main verde penio resort. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. We virtually had the use of the pool to ourselves for our 7 night stay. The apartment was a little dated but this didn’t bother us, the only thing that could be improved was probably a deep clean of the couch (pull out bed) in the sitting room and the spare blanket for the couch could have done with a wash. This is just an observation and I would happily return again next year and would highly recommend this complex

Quiet surroundings.Met Property location.The walk to the beach is challenging due to the heavy traffic on the avenue and lack of sidewalk space due to illegally parked vehicles.

Spacious apartment and good facilities such as pool and wellness. Very safe for families and the area overall had some good restaurants near by. Cleaning was good and done everyday except Sundays. Our apartment had stairs and there was no elevator. Also the living room didn’t have any fan or aircon but only the bedrooms had. So unless we kept the doors of the bedrooms open it was unbearable to sleep outside in the living room as we were a family of 6 and one of us had to use the living room sofa bed. Also the beach is not very close. It’s a good 15-20mins walk but if you have a car it’s only 3-4 mins. Parking car was sometimes difficult as when we arrived late at night we found all the parking outside the resort full. So we parked on another parallel street. The resort didn’t have the own private parking space. Somehow the road outside the apartment (one way) was always busy with cars.

Everything was perfect. Great location. Only 15 minutes walk to beach. Shops close by. Pool clean and plenty sun loungers. Comfortable beds. Apartment cleaned daily. Thanks for accommodating us for late arrival and late checkout. Kids enjoyed the pool till the very last minute. Could do with 1 or 2 knives. Some chopping boards. Simple little things if staying for longer time self catering.
