Breakfast was great, service first class, rooms were a good size. It's a beautiful old building with many great features. We held a private function which the hotel did a great job. The location is first class and we loved our time here. A more vibrant restaurant and bar would have been good, but there are plenty of options in the town

Location. I messaged the property on numerous occasions letting them know that this trip was for our wedding - yet they still decided to put my father and sisters in the room next to me, regardless of the fact I messaged them about this as well. They ran out of towels, when we asked them for extra towels, instead of admitting the fact they ran out and were waiting for a delivery, they sent us very small towel which obviously didn’t suffice. Then when we were checking out, we had multiple bags etc given it was post wedding, we forgot to hand back our key, the rude staff member never asked for it… yet she texted me the next day saying she was going to charge us for it!!! Take some responsibility. This hotel is far more expensive than most in town, don’t stay here, give the other hotels a go. To be clear, this hotel is overrated, they don’t care about their guests.

We stayed here two days ago and had the same room. The room is good and the location is nice. But as in my first stay, the breakfast service was bad. Last time I thought it was a one-off. But it showed this time it wasn’t. Horrible service by the staff in general and even worse than the first stay, and it seems to be a problem the hotel have no intention of fixing. So if you want a good start to your day, find another hotel or skip the breakfast. I decided to give the hotel one more chance after first mistake, but that showed to be me who was the fool. So, never again.

The hotel is beautiful, very tranquil and location is spot on. Also worked perfect with the free parking not too far away from the hotel. The room was super and in general a lovely place. The breakfast was the downside - and the service around it. The breakfast options was small. When you pay for a room you should be able to have more option than one “small” option from a menu. And the food we ordered was not completed, even though we made them aware of we haven’t got all. So that was definitely a let down, but I hope it was just a one off. But they should make more options for staying hotel guests.

It is beautiful. It is a shame that the staff is so bad. Except, Felipe that guy was really helpful. They provide a 1 star service. When there are issues, unexpected issues that will always be, they only focus on providing excuses and reasons but they don’t care about the customer. I went there to receive an excellent service. They didn’t schedule my massage in the spa and the jacuzzi they offer does not work. They never presented options or alternatives.

First of all, we chose this hotel because it has a jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi was unavailable because it was broken. They said they were going to fix it, and we could use it the next day. The next day, we were told it was fixed and ready to use. But the water of the jacuzzi was cold. Of course, we complained. Then they said we could use the sauna, it is hot. So we decided to use the sauna and enjoy our vacation. Unfortunately, the maximum temperature of their sauna is 65°C(150°F). And their sauna has a lot of draft, so the temperature never goes over 60°C. I think their sauna is suitable for a greenhouse. Incidentally, the handle of our bathroom shower was broken, and the shampoo bottle pump did not work.
