Everything was fine, as described. Nice quiet room. The hotel is located close to everything, just a walking distance from the center of the town, close to supermarkets and restaurants. ---

The location is great. Close to the main attractions and roads, as well as having a supermarket a couple of minutes away to get all the basics. Money well spent if you are looking to save costs and not share a hostel. You do have to share the toilet, but it's with just one more room, which I find perfect. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. For example, we received a message asking us to confirm with a transfer to a local Chilean bank, which is common practice in Chile, but I didn't have time to make it, as we booked the same day. I immediately wrote to the hotel and requested to pay cash upon arrival, and they said it was okay without hesitation. Very accommodating. Finally, they provide free tea and coffee, towels, and soap, everything you need for a couple of days' escape in Viña del Mar. The water pressure in the shower was unstable. Not a big deal, but something they could work on to keep improving the experience of the people staying.

Given the price, my expectations for some things were exceeded - the internet was excellent, the shower was lovely and hot, the bed was one of the most comfortable single beds I have ever slept in and there was tea available. The host was also excellent regarding communication and was understanding and responsive when I arrived later than planned. Very good experience. Really can't think of anything to criticise as I think it is excellent value for the price.
