Matilde Beach Resort

pool, location sometimes the food could have been better (breakfast and dinner), but generally was OK.

The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and very enjoyable — one of the highlights. The overall feeling from the accommodation was pleasant, with a calm and relaxing environment. The hotel is conveniently located close to the town center, making it easy to explore the area. Suggestions: As part of the half-board service, I would expect a quality coffee at breakfast, not instant coffee. Dinner should include at least water, and not be structured in a way that basic drinks are excluded from the package, forcing guests to pay extra (this is probably Croatia's standard approach). Water with dinner should be a standard inclusion. Additionally, sun loungers that belong to the hotel should be available to guests free of charge (two per room), rather than being subject to an additional fee. The rooms are missing "Do Not Disturb" signs for the doors, which is a basic feature expected in hotel accommodations. Parking is not included in the accommodation price, which is usually expected as part of the hotel service, to be included in the overall package.

Location was fantastic, near to the kids friendly beach. Restaurants, shops, city center. Comfortable beds and huge living room. Housekeeping is very friendly and helpfull. Bathroom is to be renovated.

Our AC squeaked quite loud when running.

Swiming pool area very well refurbished and organized. Restaurant and Manager were excellent

Clean, staff was gracious, professionals, smiling. The 2 different ladies at the front desk, always smiled and very helpful Unit should provide locking doors for privacy specially the bathrooms. Suggest to replace the old fashion antique door knobs with lockable system

The staff people, property, location and breakfast exceeded expectations. We look forward to our next visit to the Matilde Beach Resort.

Beautiful location along the beach, plenty of shops, bars and food places. Breakfast was quiet, food was fresh, replenished often and helpful staff. Pool was lovely but cold ? but to expect at end of September. 2 bed apartment for clean and had everything needed for a short term stay.

Very nice pool. Good breakfast. Nice room with basic equipment. Lovely balcony to sit outside in the evening while the kids sleep inside. Parking. Beautiful surroundings at the resort. Very friendly staff everywhere!! Old. Very uncomfortable bed with plastic sheet and really bad pillows. Nowhere in the bathroom to place your stuff (no shelves, hooks, etc.). Air conditioning only in the living room, can imagine it gets warm in the bedroom when hot outside. Staircase to the room, not ideal with children/stroller. I found it too expensive for the quality. No sea view (veery minor through trees).

PIts great with small children, because they have a playground and lots of space where they csn run and play around safely. The pool is nice too. The beach is full of beachbars and its filled up with small gravel, which i think isnt the best , but at least there is a shallow spot for kids. The breakfast is good, mostly delicious. The stuff is very nice and helpful. There is an opportunity for washing laundry on site. (Extra charge) The apartment on the ground floor doesnt have seeview because of the trees , but still has a great terrace. Beds are uncomfortable Electrical outlets in one room were loose. Shower door is broken Only one ac for 3 rooms and even that one is very loud and makes a creeking noise.
