The resort was really nice with large condo units and plenty of amenities. A few critiques. We asked a couple of times for our condo to be cleaned and housekeeping never came. Not a huge issue, but a little annoying. We were also barbequeining/cooking one night and requested a baking pan. It took them over 2 hours to bring the pan, which we didn't need any longer since it took too long. Finally, we wished that the courthouse bar stayed open a bit later. We came there at 8:30pm to enjoy a drink, but it was already closed unfortunately.

Beautiful property and the villas are very nice. The pools and lagoon were excellent. The spa was nice. My only negative is the food was expensive, but the food was expensive everywhere. The shuttle was nice too.

I was very pleased with my room and the entire staff the maids, ground crew, and the front desk staff. I would definitely come back to visit and stay here in the future.

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Loved the shuttle service to a nearby bigger Hilton where we were able to use the pool amenities and to the near by shopping areas. Rooms were spacious, clean. No complaints at all.

Unit was a ADA and a little worn which I did not know in advance but I received an early check-in which balanced it out. New washer/dryer combo machine was slow and did not dry the clothes very well. Quiet and comfortable. Parking a bit expensive.

Great property!

However, there are a few things to keep in mind. While guests get access to the main Hilton Waikoloa Village, the shuttle service was quite frustrating. The timetable was not reliable, and total transit could take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, including up to a 30-minute wait for the shuttle. Driving yourself takes only five minutes, but parking is hectic with a 15-plus minute walk. My tip is to stick with Kings' Land's own pool because it is far more convenient and enjoyable. We also noticed a few large dead cockroaches in the Kings' Land pool. Given the surrounding tropical gardens, bugs landing in the water is somewhat expected, but better surface skimming by maintenance would help. Despite the shuttle issues and the minor pool skimming need, Kings' Land is a high-quality property. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the wonderful on-site amenities.

Feeling like home

We had three rooms, and the only negative was one of the rooms was too far away from the other two. Otherwise it was wonderful! Our rooms or apartments were absolutely wonderful! The beds were comfy kitchen was awesome! Everything was perfect! The pool with water slides was the best. The kids loved lt and so did the adults! 3rd time back for my daughter and family.

Property had a ton of amenities, a supermarket, multiple pool areas. Close to the beach, restaurants. Suites are nice and roomy.
-
Opportunities for improvement were noted for adult areas , especially for the pools; the breakfast was also a bit pricey for the offerings. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and enjoy!

We booked a One Bedroom Deluxe King Resort View Suite with Sofabed through Travelocity. The photos showed a modern, updated room with a glass shower door and tub. Instead, we were given a handicap-accessible room, which we never requested. It had a shower curtain, no tub, and looked much older and completely different from the advertised room. The first room was also not very clean. There was an old, unpleasant smell, the bathroom floor stayed wet because the shower had no proper water barrier, and the living-room area rug was absolutely disgusting and looked very poorly maintained. When I showed the front desk the Travelocity photos, I was told that was the room we had requested. After speaking with the manager, we were told they needed to fill available timeshare rooms for the owners. I understand their business needs, but that is not the guest’s responsibility. We paid for the room shown and described on Travelocity. We were moved two days later, but had to stay in the first room for two nights. The resort later sent chocolates and an apology note, but it did not adequately address the situation. My advice: be very careful when booking through Travelocity and confirm exactly what room you will receive. The photos and description may not match the room assigned.

Pool! Room for ‘Ohana to spread out. Check on was easy. Parking on site. We booked room stays separately and had to check out and check back in. It would have been amazing if someone would have been able to combine the bookings so we didn’t have to move. We would have settled for a resort side room or paid a little more at that point.

This was a very comfortable hotel lots of space in the 2 bdrm suite but I didn’t quite like how far the pool was. And the pool area didn’t feel clean enough.
