We had a friendly welcome from the gentleman on reception. The hotel itself is charming and located in a nice and safe area. It's a 10 minute walk to the train station, and only 15 minutes and 4 stops to the city centre. There are two train companies with SKM (red ticket machines or buy on the train) seemingly half the price of KM (green machines). The room was exceptionally clean throughout with charming decor. Breakfast had several options given the size of the hotel. Nice place for dinner just around the corner. Good price for the quality offered. At the rear of the hotel there is lots of noise from the airport, railway line, roads and a business with the windows open and closed. It would have been useful if the hotel offered earplugs in the room. The shampoo was not of great quality and only in small sachets. Otherwise still a very nice place to stay.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood, well communicated by public transport, surrounded by greenery… It’s easy to find and the building is beautiful We were in a heatwave and the room only had an electric fan that was of poor help. Obviously Poland is super cold so their focus while building and furnishing is maintaining the place hot. It’s not a thing you can be mad about, but maybe a point to have in mind for some people. The breakfast was super polish style, obviously we’re in Poland but I would’ve appreciated a little of variety (maybe we were late cause there was empty trays). Also there was a ton of people and we had to get breakfast from the dining area and eat it alone in a conference room (instructed by the hotel staff)

Cozy , but for almost hundred euros there were no air conditioning I couldn’t expect that in general in the hotel here might be no air conditioning. It’s really pity and for that money really disappointing. No air conditioner

The American House is American only by name; Its staff hardly speaks any English to the point where when you ask a question to an employee, she doesn’t know how to reply in English and goes running off looking for a colleague able to bring you an answer in Hemingway’s lingo…
