The hotel room was clean, but significant signs of use— the kitchen was functional but outdated. The bathroom was clean. The AC said it was 68 degrees and it felt more like 72 degrees & we asked them to send someone to fix it & they did send someone however, the room did not feel cooler — we didn’t make it a big deal but it was not ideal especially when traveling to dc in the middle of July. We were on the 6th floor & the smell of food in the hallway lingered our entire stay— it was pretty terrible when we got home & we smelled it even on our luggage. The staff was great, friendly & very polite & provided good recommendations when we asked. The breakfast was okay, not much variety but was not expecting much for the price point. The location was excellent, the neighborhood felt safe & centric to everywhere we needed to go to.

Clean and great staff

Room was very nice. But front desk staff, Keona in particular, was very rude. This young lady does not need to be in customer service. Extremely unwilling to help, not nice and not very unknowledgeable. I will never come back here due to her poor service.

This is an excellently run hotel property in the heart of downtown Washington, D. C.! We were quite pleased with the staff’s excellent customer service, led by the head of housekeeping, Briona! The breakfast is quite varied and sumptuous! Go for it!

Series of inconveiniences. To start the room was available before the check in time so that was great.we went to our room and it was 80 degrees in our room and we turned on the AC and took a nap a few hours later we woke up sweating buckets as it was 86 degrees now and we called front desk and they sent an employee up who told us he knew nothing about HVAC because the engineer was off on a friday at 3pm. so he tried to turn on and it was same result as we had no cooling. so we requested a different room. which they accomidated. New room working AC was great. so the next morning they obviously forgot to tell room cleaning staff as she enterd the room without knocking and surprised my friend as he was in his underwear. embarasing for both. went down for breakfast. returned and now key did not work. went down and retrieved another one because they obviously did not set for correct number of days. As we were sitting on the curb waiting for A lyft. We heard a load scream from behing us and as we turned around a huge Rat ran from the garbage can area and actually jumped over inbetween myself and my girlfreind.

Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was delicious with a wide variety to accommodate various dietary needs. The room was clean, comfortable and and fit the needs of a family.

Love the Managers reception. Nice clean rooms and hotel.

Room was ready ahead of time -- to get in I had to pay extra but it was worth it for my schedule that day. I had a lot of luggage so the fact that there was no bellman to help get my luggage all the way down a very long hall was challenging (they did have a ginormous cart) but I worked it out. Very good location for my purposes and just what I needed in terms of the room.

Great time

Extremely convenient.

Front desk staff gave incorrect information regarding rooms and views. If you looking for a hotel with a view DO NOT GO HERE. The location of this hotel is horrible. And when we spoke to the manager he told us we could leave if we didn't like the room . Very disappointed with this hotel rooms and view of a brick wall and an apartment building next door. Other than that this is a nice cleans hotel and the rest of the staff was helpful and nice.

One of the drawback is the property is hedged around a turnaround and finding the exact narrow lane may be a learning experience. Other than that parking is thru a valet only and obviously incurs charges but the car is brought up quickly.

Breakfast was good bit missed it most of the days because it ended early. We usually have breakfast between 9:30 and 10am but it was closed by then.

I love it here! The room was spacious enough and was so glad to see like a timeshare set up complete with refrigerator, microwave , dishwasher , a mini dining table, a gas stove and a convertible sofa bed. Clean room and of course we had comfortable sleep at night. The added breakfast is icing on top. I highly recommend this hotel when you are the nation’s capital!!!!!
