The ac in the room just wasn't strong enough to make it cold in the room. And the building layout could get a little confusing. But all in all, will likely stay again

Good amenities and helpful staffs

What a wonderful experience. I’m traveling solo with little ones and this was the perfect place to stay. Room was spacious, amenities were perfect, and what an amazing staff. From the front desk to the bellman, they carried themselves with a smile. It was my first experience in Washington DC, and by far best hotel to enjoy the town or just to relax.

This hotel is an older hotel that has seen a lot of traffic in and out of it. It is located well for visits to the Whitehouse and other tourist destinations, but definitely a 3 out of 5 star experience.

Room is clean and bed is comfortable

Great experience! Breakfast not included and parking costs a fee but it seems that’s common for DC! Excellent hotel :)

Upon arrival we found a dirty towel in our room. Housekeeping promptly changed it for us. Everything else was great!

I wish garden cafe was working 7 days and longer hours and better menu
-
No amenities provided. Free breakfast would be a thought.

Clean room, friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to pay to park on the the property. But, at least that was convenient.

Very goood location. They are so kind to upgrade us. Even lent is a phone charger which we very much apreciate

Booked a couple months prior and they did upgrade us to a suite, which was awesome. Convenient location. Showed up earlier than expected at 1:30pm. Room was not ready. There were at least 10 other rooms people were waiting for, none were cleaned and ready for guests. We didn't get a room until 2:45. We understand that check in is officially at 3pm. But they should be more accommodating for flights. They obviously do not do any early check ins. So many people came after us waiting for their rooms as well and had to keep checking in waiting for cleaners to be done. The front desk ended up saying at 2:45 our room still wasn't ready so decided to just give us someone else's I guess. Was hard with a toddler. Hotel is not stroller friendly. Had to carry stroller up stairs to get to elevator every time. Not family friendly for sure. Our last night, I stopped by restaurant for coffee and the male waiter asked where I was from, I told him, which was a mistake because he ranted about politics and how he was absolutely right about everything to do with politics and everyone else was wrong. He cussed and swore and stuck his middle finger up about politicians, which was super unprofessional. I just kept telling him that I don't get involved and stay out of it. Made me very uncomfortable and it lasted at least 10 minutes. Didn't appreciate the swearing. Clearly he knows more about other countries politics than the people who live there i guess. Would t go back for this reason.

Clean property and friendly staff.

Location, room size, cleanliness, comfortable beds. We very much appreciated the separate room with a vanity that allowed one person to do makeup, etc. while another used the bathroom, though the vanity could do with better lighting. The full kitchen with a full size refrigerator was very convenient, as well. The parking was quite tight, but we were able to manage.
-
Mega-sized room, never seen anything like it. The parking, albeit 50$ a night, is very secure and well managed. The restaurant almost charged me for food that's supposed to be included, it was a bit of a hassle to get into the private parking lot, there should be an option to book a place in advance and have the place open for you when you arrive.

Excellent location, clean room, comfortable bed. Our room was a bit too warm. The A/C did not cool enough for us to sleep comfortably.

Todo excelente, nunca nos faltó nada en el baño y cocina.

Will definitely return! Check in was quick and easy. We were upgraded which was a great surprise. The room had a full kitchen complete with a gas stove, dishes, pots and pans. The bathroom had a little foyer room as well. The room was very warm when we arrived on one of the hottest days of the year and the AC did not appear to be working to its potential. I called the front desk and it was serviced immediately. The hotel is an older building but excellently maintained and clean with great water pressure which is sometimes an issue in older buildings. The location was excellent for us as we were attending an event at the National Mall. Everything was within walking distance including Whole Foods. The hotel is located within the George Washington University and close to many of the sights and museums. Very pleased with our stay.
