Nothing to complain about.

I would give this location higher stars if I could. From the minute we stepped in, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We stayed two nights and had an outstanding experience. Highly recommend.

Loved the location of hotel. Room was clean and very nice. The bathroom was small but doable. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Great location with walkable access to attractions and neighborhood restaurants.

We had a wonderful experience at The Capitol Hotel. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The room was clean and very comfortable. As an extreme animal lover, I appreciated the bowls of water and treats for not only guest fur babies, but all the local babies on their daily walks. I will definitely stay here again.

El cuarto estaba limpio. El desayuno muy completo en mi opinión. Justo mi estadía fue acompañada de días súper calurosos. Si bien de dia el aire acondicionado se sentía bien, a la noche se apagaba. Volvería sin dudarlo .

We loved it here, metro close, free bikes, everything was amazing! Breakfast was definitely 10/10

The location was perfect for us. Were we able to walk everywhere and had lots of options for lunch an dinner near the hotel, as well as walking over to the Smithsonian network of museums. The view from our room was lovely and our room was very quiet--the rooms around us were occupied but never heard our "neighbors." I greatly appreciated the blackout blinds for a great night's sleep. The breakfast offerings included fresh fruit and yogurt as well as cereal, eggs and sausage. It's in a beautiful neighborhood.

Excellent staff

It exceeded my expectations in comfort, care cleanliness. The parking attendant was particularly helpful.

Booked this hotel because they had valet parking and decent rooms. When we arrived the Valet parking was not available beacause they do not have enough space to hold cars for the entire hotel. Had to park at Union Station parking garage and Uber back and forth to the hotel. They upgraded our room because of this which was nice but then we found that the shower had NO water pressure and trickled out of the shower head. Ok hotel I guess

Good bedding and friendly staff

Great location, short walk to Library of Congress, Botanical Gardens, and more. The hotel is older. Our king room had a separate living area with a desk, so the space was very large. Breakfast is eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and some fruit. Tried to enjoy the bikes but only 1 was remaining for the day (we needed 2). Wasn't told guests could check them out without actually using them until a later time that day. Would have been helpful if the front desk had suggested the bike share option around the corner vs being dismissive and told "too bad". We got lucky with street parking one night and the valet was super helpful.

Great price, great location. Happy to have found this deal for a quick visit to DC.

Fantastic location in a neighborhood, and near the Capitol.. Great rooms and beds and each front desk staff person we encountered could NOT have been nicer or more helpful...the complimentary hot breakfast was also top notch.. We'll stay there again for sure.!

great location

size of room and lounge Bathroom door would not close and bathroom was very small and old. No kettle to boil water for safety reasons. Had to use the urn downstairs and carry boiling hot water back up in the lift, which seemed less safe to me.

The place was perfect. The staff was excellent, wonderful breakfast, easy access to all the attractions.
