Hotel Nell - Union Market

We booked for 3 nights but only stayed 1 night. Parking was an issue, but manageable. Our biggest issue was the room, it would not cool down, maintenance looked at it but still could not get it to cool. Outside noise was also so loud, we could not sleep. Kudos to staff though, we told them our issues and asked if we could get a refund for the two other nights and they said it was no problem.

Very clean place to stay

Staff was very helpful and polite. Wasn’t a fan of the mattress or how low to the ground the bed frame is but that’s a personal preference. Also prefer a shower door to shower curtain when with a stand only shower. But quick 10 min walk to Metro to get anywhere in the city. Enjoyed all three restaurants especially Singing Tiger. Staff was 5 star. Thanks to Adrienne, Courtney and the female bartender alongside them made my meal and experience enjoyable.

It was a good central location to get pretty much anywhere you wanted to go. Staff was friendly

It was okay, however, the sink was chipped and the bed a bit small. The walls are super thin so heard the people next door all night. Convenient location to where I wanted to go and the rooftop bar was good.

This hotel will be the only hotel I will stay at when I visit DC. EVERYTHING about this place is AMAZING!! The Alexa in the room blew my mind...5 stars is an insult..i would give them 100 "REAL STARS from the sky if I could.

Well designed hotel, good vibe and nice area of town

I was used to. Also the ac was good The first night and the second night it was hot. But overall good stay.

underwhelming. a leak from the ceiling issue that took way too long to address helped sour the stay. cool for location.

Exceptional

The aesthetic of the hotel as a whole was beautiful, the rooftop restaurant was very convenient and was an overall great environment. The room was VERY small compared to what I imagined. We stayed in a room with two single beds and there wasn’t much space to move around. For sure wouldn’t be a place to hangout in the room

Nice hotel with a good location. Our remote for the tv didn’t work. The air didn’t work. We told the front desk and nobody fixed it just gave us a fan…

The family room was great for our family of four. The neighborhood is cool with lots of good food nearby in Union Market. We also liked all restaurants on the property. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others!
