Location Front Desk staff was not friendly and welcoming. Short staffed in the Restaurant. There was only 1 waitress so the ordering process was extremely slow. I waited at least 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast.

Loved the hotel decor and spaciousness of the room. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Good coffee and kind staff. Towels could have been softer and it would have been helpful to have help navigating the construction out front.

We were only in the room long enough to sleep for a few hours and the bed was fine, so I didn’t request a room change or cleaning. The hotel itself is old but also looked in need of some major renovations. The stay was ok, but I wouldn’t choose to go back. Not my idea of a 4-star hotel.

Our air conditioner was out during a historic heat wave. They did bring us a fan, but never go the AC fixed. Other than that it was a great property and trip.

My travel partner did not like that there was no vending machine for soft drinks. The reservation said we were to receive a complimentary bottle of wine but we did not. Wine was very expensive and one evening, the bartender had no corkscrew! There were not enough knobs or racks for towels used.
