We booked and paid for a Queen Suite with 2 Queen Beds for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). Our stay was an absolute nightmare: Health Hazard (Room 305): Upon arrival, room 305 had an intolerable, toxic odor of mold. It was unsafe for children to breathe. We had to wake up our sleeping children late at night (around 9:15 PM) to demand a room change. Downgrade & Severe Inconvenience (Room 323): The replacement room provided contained ONLY ONE BED instead of the two beds we paid for. The hotel failed to provide extra beds or adequate sleeping arrangements. Inhumane Conditions: Fortunately, we had a portable travel crib in our car for one child, but our second child was forced to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR on a mattress/blanket! Horrible Management & Ignored Complaints: At checkout, the front desk refused to assist or issue a refund, claiming the General Manager (Zachary) was unavailable. We emailed GM Zachary and contacted Booking.com customer support, but both completely ignored our emails and messages. Paying $205 to have a child sleep on the floor due to mold hazards and a room downgrade is completely unacceptable. We are forced to dispute this charge through our credit card. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

It was adequate and clean, but outdated. Breakfast was nice. However, the area where you ate had all thred bare chairs. But, It was fine and convenient for one night.

Suitable room, but needs updating. Front desk Personnel were amazing however I was not thrilled with room service knocking on my door an hour before checkout. That was ridiculous.

I was surprised that the facility was older: wallpaper peeling and floor boards lifting up. There were stains on the carpet and the couch from wear and tear and age. We took advantage of the pool which my family enjoyed, but it was much smaller than I imagined. The hotel is in an industrial area across the street from a Bob’s Discount Furniture. There was a small outdoor patio that had potential, but was poorly maintained with woodworking projects in progress. It was ok for a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to stay during the day. My son was the poor 5th family that got the pull out couch, which he said was not comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Couch in room was very old and worn out.

The A/C unit in our room was broken, and the room was freezing cold with no way to turn it off. Unfortunately, the hotel was sold out, so we were unable to switch rooms. We were told we would receive a refund for our stay, but so far, nothing has been done regarding the refund. Very disappointing experience.

Also, room cooling system wasn't overly functional. Lobby and hallways stayed cooled during a very warm couple of days

Good safe location, great friendly helpful staff, good price. Stayed in a suite so my daughter had her own side of the room, very large room. Would definitely stay again. Wifi great, Shop Rite supermarket right around the corner.

very bad service for breakfast

Shower wouldn’t drain so you’re feet stood in dirty water. Bought a king bed and was given a queen. Bed felt unsanitary along with carpet and bathroom

Comfy bed, great place to work while my child was at the USCGA for the week. Breakfast was good as was the coffee and I loved the fresh baked cookies as a mid-afternoon snack. Less than 2 miles to USCGA and easily accessible to that, the highway, local restaurants, and an easy drive to Groton and Mystic. My room had some wallpaper peeling in the bathroom and the soffit over the window was separating from the ceiling and it was HUMID in there even with the air and fan going on the AC unit. I suspect it has to do with the lack of ventilation from the bathroom. Overall, not a bad place for an extended stay.

Breakfast was great, so many choices and fresh blueberries! The shower was really good. The staff was so friendly. We were offered bottled water upon checkout. We were on the first floor and would ask for an upper level floor next time because the cars parked outside were right outside our window. It was noisy when cars came and went. The beds were uncomfortable. The AC was really loud so I had trouble sleeping.

Rooms were very clean and breakfast offered a lot of food choices.

Staff was nice. Property and rooms need to be updated.

The hotel canceled my reserved and paid for room on the day of arrival without prior notification. When I arrived at the hotel shortly before midnight, I was told they could not honor the reservation and that they were fully booked. I was getting stranded in the middle of the night.

Paint peeling out of bathroom, mold, no towels (remedied by front desk)
