About The Brackenrigg Inn

Excellent variety and quantity Tha bathroom. The basin was too small. The towel rail was too high for me!There was no shelf for toiletries
-
A very pleasant room, calm and quiet with beautiful views from the 2 windows. The bathroom was reasonably well-equiped and the fact that it was rather tiny wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast and evening meal were good.

Scenery was lovely and breakfast was good The bedroom was small, bed very creaky, the tv was pathetic and had no signal. Quite disappointed

Good friendly staff, great view, good food ( especially steak pie) pleasant room, good beer. Desserts weren’t warm enough. Bathroom was very badly planned it was so narrow that the shower door only half opened because of the sink so you had to open the bathroom door to squeeze into the sower but when you closed the shower door you couldn’t close the bathroom door because it wouldn’t go past the door handle on bathroom door. So you showered with bathroom door open unless your partner closed it for you. Needs a revamp !,

Its a bit dog eared. Dogs are a problem here as there as many dogs as punters. If you're not a doggy type you have to put up with this here. Staff feeding dogs by hand then handling your plates. The premises are down at heel. Sorry, I was there with my best friend but the location did not add to my experience. The two guys, who ran the bar Saturday night were terrific.
