Residence Inn by Marriott Weehawken

MAJOR PROBLEM: There isn’t an AC unit in the living room. The AC unit is located in the bedroom. It is supposed to cool the entire one bedroom apt. IT DOES NOT. The living room area stays hot and stuffy. Other questions confirmed having the same issue. If you have guest who plan to sleep in the living room area, they will be measurably HOT in summer months. The bed was comfortable. Sofa bed was HARD. There isn’t really a closet. There are dresser drawers. The breakfast was different most days.The options were limited. Gym is very nice. Laundry machines were out of order. Free bottled water in gym refrigerator. Took Path train from Newark Penn station to light rail to Hotel. Did not need a rental car. EXCELLENT LOCATION

The room with a view means you will get a view of a high riser that is currently being constructed. You will be awakened by construction noises starting 5AM. When you open your blinds, you will have construction crews staring into your bedroom. The hotel staff gives you run arounds and hands you false information when asked for any information. The manager of the hotel breeds a toxic work culture and you will get no resolutions. Beware!

Great place. Never had a bad stay very conveniently located to take the ferry to New York City. Very safe.

Everything was great

The room is large and clean. The hotel location is perfect, 2 minutes walk to the ferry terminal. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

The staff were great and friendly, the room was nice and clean, breakfast was good especially the fruits and egg and cheese omelette, definitely coming back some day

Loved our trip. Staff was amazing and breakfast was good. We will be staying there again when we come back. Great location for public transportation by bus, light rail, and boat. Perfect pick up spot for Uber and Lyft. The view was to die for.

Perfect location

We spent 6 nights there & loved it! The location is right by the NY Waterway ferry into Manhattan, which was our favorite mode of transportation. The only thing we’d change was we needed more closet space. Other than that, the location was beautiful, as we walked the path along the river day & night & loved the view of the Manhattan skyline! We’ll be back!

Noise was not an issue at my new room. Staff was always professional and very friendly. The room was large and clean. The AC unit mounted to the Bedroom wall was very noisy when starting up, but somewhat quiet during the cooling operation only to start the noise again at the startup of the next cooling cycle. Breakfast options were plentiful and the coffee was strong and good. The dining area was open, large, and clean. Staff constantly kept the area clear of used plates and kept the food area filled. The location was excellent for me as the NJ/NY Ferry port was directly across the street so daily trips to Midtown Manhattan were super easy. The view of Manhattan was excellent. New Jersey definitely has the better view of Manhattan! I probably would not stay at this property again until I learn. that the construction across the street has been completed.
