The room and bathroom were clean and had all we needed. However, the kitchenette cupboards were old and in poor condition. The hotel lobby and stairs needed a good vacuum. My first impression from that was quite negative, but the room and bathroom were very clean in comparison. Be aware there is no lift, and our room was on the 2nd floor which meant carrying heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs by ourselves. No staff to offer assistance. Wifi was available and worked well. Overall we were happy with our stay.

The location was exactly as described in the listing, and we were extremely well received by Mishel, who manages the Hotel. Mishel was very supportive in giving tips, answering questions, and helping us with the luggage and early-checkin when available. Thank you so much!

The pricing was excellent, even more so with the own bathroom and kitchenette. The location was also perfect in a relatively quiet area bearing it was only a couple of blocks from 9th Avenue with loads of shops and restaurants. Miguel was happy to check me in around 12 30 pm. He would also have helped me carry my luggage to my room if I'd asked. Fully recommend Five544.

The room was clean, and the little kitchen was useful to prepare our breakfast as we traveled with the family. Restaurants and Times Square were really close. Mr. Mischel was polite and very helpful. He guided us with the parking and offered us umbrellas they day it rained. Thank you!

It was quiet. The kitchenette was good. TV was good. Shower was good. Compact space. Bed was too firm for one of us. No entry room for the hotel

Good place to base ourselves, we didn't spend much time in the room. It was a fair size and the kitchenette was useful. A box of tissues and some coffee in the kitchen would have been nice. We were on the top floor which was fine for us but would not be for some. It was very buried in the confirmation - instructions for a check in after 9pm need to be arranged. It actually says check in closes at 9, which should be worded differently.

The check in was fast. The place has a door code so you cannot enter the building without it which is perfect. Same for the room door. Times square is about 20 minutes walk. The bed mattress was hard but good overall. The place and room looked quite old and needed renovation. AC was very loud. A lot of noise from the street especially at night. There are no elevators so good luck if you have a heavy luggage. I would say it costs more than what it's worth. So for me it was too expensive for the quality. The area is a bit sketchy to be honest. The subway is about 15 min walk so if you have heavy luggage then it's gonna be difficult. Nobody at the desk when we checked out or at any point during our stay....Internet was patchy and slow.

It’s in the middle of manhatten, close to the main touristic points of the city. Can be easily accessed by metro or bus. There are no keys for the room, you don’t have to take care of them, you get access easy with a code. Good value for NYC Doesn’t had coffee in the room or at least in the lobby

The location is perfect, very central and in good quarter. The room is small but enough comfortable. The only issue can be that there is not an elevator. We arrived late and the staff was very gentle. The structure can be be renewed, there are some part old and sometimes fixed not in a proper way. As I said the fact that there is not an elevator can be an issue when you have big luggage that you have to bring upstair.

Exactly what I was looking for when traveling with my 11-year-old. We don't spend much time in our hotel when traveling as we like to be out and exploring. I just needed a clean room with a private bathroom, essentially a safe place to sleep. Bonus was that it was close enough to walk to Broadway shows and Central Park. Would absolutely stay again!

Location was a little bit out of centre but that was nice to get away from the crowds . Only 20 min walk into time square No reception as such . No bar . Stayed 3 nights room wasn't cleaned ..
