DoubleTree by Hilton West Fargo Sanford Medical Center Area

Stayed on site for a conference. Great room with fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Very close to Costco, and all other types of shopping. We ate breakfast one day but otherwise had a quick brain our room. Would readily stay again.

Rooms are spacious. Our air unit was not cooling properly. We used the patio/fire pit area at night. That was nice.

Extremely clean, helpful staff, great breakfast, plenty of parking.

I was not a fan of this hotel. We booked a suite for 4 nights and upon checking in late at night, we were put in the wrong room. The front desk lady said they had a maintenance issue with the suite and since I booked through Expedia, they couldn't get ahold of me (which I think is a coverup and doubt they would have even tried). They were mostly full for the night, so a double queen room was the closest thing they could get us into. It worked for the night, other than it was not up to par for a Hilton: rusty bathroom fixtures, chip in the tub, bathroom door got stuck when opening/closing. So the next morning I checked with the front desk and they said we could get into the room we booked after they cleaned it. Two hours later, we walked into a room similar to the one we booked, but it didn't have a sofa bed, which we needed for our third kid. I asked the front desk if we could get a rollaway but they didn't have any. So one kid slept on a cot we happened to bring. Feeling that we had really been gipped, I contacted Expedia to see about getting some refund. After they contacted the hotel, all the hotel offered was free breakfast, saying we got into the room we booked, which we didn't at all. Also, in both rooms the fridge had built up ice, sticky hair dryers and stains on the walls, as well as the pool was cold and the hot tub was under maintenance the first and only day we had free. The only good thing about this hotel was the sound walls (not floors) and comfy beds.

NOT a 4 star stay. Very disappointed. Furniture was grungy, bath fixtures were missing,rusty or falling off the wall, bathtub caulk was moldy. Occupants of room above could be heard running back and forth for hours! I checked out early. :-(

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was in such bad shape. Shower was gross, toilet paper holder couldn’t hold the toilet paper due to falling off the wall, mirror was missing from the wal, disgust forty and all fixtures rusty

Highly recommend this hotel. Cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff make the stay enjoyable. Easy and free parking. Convenient location right off the freeway.

Only issue was the room smelt like wet dog i just about requested another room but was really tired so we just put up with it next time i will ask if the room and or the property is pet room and will request not to stay in a pet room

Location was good

Pretty horrible experience. Ac wouldn't get below 82 degrees during the day. Manager not on property to handle issues. Peephole broken and zip tied. No pressure at lav. Curtains wouldn't close all the way. "Couch bed" was a joke hard as a rock. Pillows deflated. No receipt sent and $800 added which we can't figure out what for. Run.

The toilet was broken, which means that you had to call front desk… also right after they so-called fixed it it broke again so then you have to dig in the tank to make it work… on going process. Cook did not show up on one of the nights…. But we did have a great time in the pool area!

The rooms were really nice and clean. Our first room's TV wasn't working, so we called for help. The front desk said they'd try to get ahold of someone to fix it. After not hearing anything for 45 minutes, we called back down to find that she couldn't find anyone. We switched rooms where the TV worked, but there was an extra fridge in the walkway of the room. It worked well, but it was just in the way. Aside from the staff not being helpful or following up (and there being no cookies upon check in or check out! -- I talked up the cookies and was so looking forward to them) the hotel was fantastic, the rooms were comfy and it's in a great location. The bed was a bit hard, but it's hard to find a hotel where they aren't. Hopefully next time it's a little smoother sailing.
