There was no hand soap in my bathroom. The door for said bathroom was damaged. They just painted over the cracked wood and the paint was chipping. The shower and tub was not cleaned properly. There was still some hair from the previous guest. The WiFi kept coming in and out so the WiFi connection is not consistent from where my room was. When I got there at around 2:45 to check-in, there was a sign that said “be back in 15” I went to the nearby McDonalds for some food and came back in that amount of time and no one was there. I couldn’t actually check-in until around 4pm. Check-in is at 2:30pm - 11pm, so someone should be readily available between those hours. Especially because I had reserved the room and paid it in full well in advance. I give them 3 stars simply because the room was clean and there’s a McDonald’s super close by for a quick meal.

Easy check in, friendly manager. I didn't know our room was upstairs.

family run, clean hotel. its a somewhat updated 60's motel. there are rough edges to it, but I had a good nights sleep. good enough for me, but Im sure my wife would disagree. It wasnt a huge departure from what i expected. I knew the furniture would be dinged up. the bathroom door has water damage. paint on the front door is peeling. that kind of thing.

I enjoyed my stay at the Echo Lodge. With the low price I thought I might have to compromise with the room or amenities but I was wrong. My room was clean and the television had a good variety of shows on it. The water was always warm within seconds when I took showers. The air conditioning unit worked fine and I was near to local markets and restaurants.

I always stay at Echo Lodge when I am in town. It is a clean and peaceful place to reset and still be close enough to downtown and other activities. The staff (I believe they are a family) are so accommodating and you can tell they have a great pride in ownership by the way they keep up on everything. I highly recommend Echo Lodge if you want a little slice of calm during your stay in the Sac area.

Nice clean rooms, furniture and such a little old. For the price though, it is an excellent place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and the AC worked. That is all you need! The staff was vey nice and efficient also.

Front desk is nice Initially assigned a room that smelled like a toilet that was not really fully cleaned up, and found some curly hair on the pillow. Front desk gave us another room which was much better in terms of smell. Sheets *look* mostly ok in the second room.

There is no pool. I wish there was something like that but its fine. The back area behind the bathroom should be used for some kind of lounge area.
