Courtyard by Marriott Cleveland Westlake

The Orbitz caption said that breakfast was included. Having small children and being in a road trip, this amenity is a must for us. Breakfast was not included it was an ala carte menu. They didn’t even have free coffee to offer . Highly Disappointed

The front desk was fantastic, but the room was sub par. Garbage on deck, lights burnt out in bathroom. The overall is starting to show its age with the price a bit much for what it was advertised as. Again the staff was great and super helpful when issues were brought to light.

Bed was comfortable.

Great staff and well run. Rooms are in need of a little maintenance and/or upgrades. Everything works, but is showing signs of age/wear. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean.

Feces stain on room floor. Light that flickered and then always went off. Parking lines not visible so had to park far away because others took up multiple space. No towels by pool

The hotel was nice, bathroom was not great. Tub and shower very outdated. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were almost empty. Two wet washcloths were left by the last people in the room.

Property seems worn. Carpeting, especially in the elevators needs to be cleaned. Actually just vacuuming the carpet in the elevators would have been an improvement. Some places where wallpaper was installed was very shoddy. The ac unit in the room was so noisy we had to sleep with ear plugs. And the cooling system didn’t remove any humidity. Everything felt wet and nothing seemed to dry. When housekeeping came-every other day- they didn’t replace coffee and cups. Plus breakfast is not free there. You have to order off a menu. The place was not cheap either.

The interaction with staff is more than enough reason for me to never visit this site. I will never stay anywhere I do not feel respected and comfortable. I will leave it there. I do not think the interaction I received was a reflection of Marriot or their services. I understand locations have cultures and in the suburbs of Ohio I am now aware of that culture.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was clean but bathroom needs updating, The toilet was very low to ground and the walls and ceiling looks like it needs redone due to time and wear and tear. The refrigerator is more like a cooler and shouldn’t be called or considered a refrigerator. It runs for 2 hrs at a time if you push a button to run it for a 2 hour limit, it’s either that button or an off button. Ice machine on 2nd floor should be tended to. It spit out black specks with the ice. Ok to use to keep things cold but not for drinking. Which is disappointing because the fridge doesn’t work, so I used it as a cooler with the ice from 2nd floor. Ice from the bistro on main floor is what I used for drinking. Pillows are fluffy but offer no support really. Bed is extremely firm. The staff was my favorite part of my stay. Patio is nice.

Court Yard by Marriott is always reliable. We had a large room, clean and comfortable bed. Little restaurant/bar at the property had great menus for our supper and breakfast. Loved the hot tub after traveling all day.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Adequate for an on the road stop, not as a destination. The Bistro was closed the evening we arrived so we had to go elsewhere. The breakfast at the Bistro (we paid for breakfast with our reservation) was awkwardly set up. Not like the real restaurants at the Courtyards.

the room smelled wet, but Holly was so pleasant at check in.

Room was atrocious and the staff was rude. Our view from our King Suite was their sinister and our room smelled like a garage. There were still gloves and dirt in the corner of the room from what I hope was the cleaning staff. I have my doubts about that considering the shower, floors, and vents were dirty and moldy. We checked out a day early due to the conditions. Additionally, breakfast cost extra, and the Starbucks they so proudly serve wasn’t available due to a broken machine. Stay anywhere but here!
