    Our keys kept not working for both of our rooms. Drugs were being delt in the parking lot and through rooms. half of the lights worked in the room. The mattress was flipped upside down and had springs poking out while we slept. Breakfast was an absolute disappointment. Having one and not the other. (Jelly, no PB, syrup but no waffles, etc). Someone broke into our room and broke the swinging lock latch. Employees said they would call police and view camera footage. They lied, and never did! Employees lied about maintenance. Employees lied about renting our room out to someone else while we had the room. No one was helpful for refunds. We checked out a day early and "ate the cost". Never staying here, ever again. Very run down! It was so much nicer about 8+years ago. A customer infront of us in line at check out complained of the bathroom door falling right off the hinges!!! There was a huge youth group, of about 30 kids, that showed up and walked right back out, refusing to stay there and refused to give this motel their business, missing out on renting roughly 10-20 rooms (as a guestimate). My 9 year old found a pocket knife in our room, under the bed. Tell me our stay was nothing but safe and enjoyable!?!? Never again!!!!

    This hotel was disgusting. The rooms were terrible. The sheets and bedding were stained. Staff were terrible. There were dead animals on the property. We doing fingernail all over the room. Very bad experience. This hotel is a health concern and should be shut down.

    The outside of the building was extremely gross. Thought we were staying on skid row. Open bottles of alcohol laying around, sketchy people all over the place. Broken pieces of the ceiling were laying outside the rooms. Some of the doors had punch marks in them. Couldn’t find our room because the numbers were missing. Going in the room you were punched in the face by a pungent musky mold smell. Lifted the mattress and noticed bed bug stains. Heard dripping coming from the bathroom and above the shower there’s been a leak there for a while and black mold is everywhere. We didn’t stay there and I demanded my money back. No way I’ll ever stay in à la Quinta again.

    Rooms are in serious need of upgrading. I stayed in the "suite," and other than the vaunted ceilings and front room space, it was one of the worst maintained rooms I'd ever been in. High chips in the painted walls. Doors that won't close all the way. Outside doors not functioning with key cards. Broken ice machine on floor.

    This was the worst experience me and my family have ever had. We had stayed at this same location years back and decided to book here again, but this time it was nothing like the last. It was absolutely awful! The second we entered the room there was an overwhelming smell of urine and a missing tv. I headed back down to the front office where there was a number of un happy guests as well. Some had not hot water others no bedding.(just from what I overheard) They moved me rooms to a room with a tv but tv was poorly functioning room had no hair dryer no clothing iron and also smelled like urine bathroom was dirty. Headed back to the front desk where I was told they couldn’t just keep switching us rooms, asked for a refund then if there wasn’t a full functioning room available and was told there was no management available. by this time it was very late and we needed somewhere to stay. Hardly slept because of smell. Went down for breakfast 45 minutes before it was supposed to be over and everything was out including coffee. You truly don’t even get the basics of what you pay for. Just awful awful awful!

    We were given a dirty room. Then we got another one that had a broken tv and broken faucet. We requested an early check out since we reserved for 4 nights and we were denied.

    Homeless person smoking in the elevator when I went to use it, room smelled like weed, door lock was broken, had to pin a desk under door handle to feel “safe” for sleeping

    Do not stay at this hotel!! It was a mess. I booked it because of the La Quinta name and did not look at other reviews. My bad. Cigarettes and beer cans laying all over outside on the side walks, gross stain on the walls in our room, dirty carpet. My family did not feel safe here so we left and did not even stay the night. We have tried multiple times to contact the manager and get a refund but they are never there.

    BEWARE! They photo copied our drivers License and credit card on arrival! Then was checked into a dirty room! They claimed it was cleaned but it was not! Then they said we could check out the next morning and they would refund the next to two nights! But the charges went through for the whole 3 nights! Stay at your own risk !

    "Newly renovated", the area, and posted pictures were the reasons we booked this hotel, but upon arrival to the property it was a completely different story. We had to change rooms immediately, and the second room still had cleanliness, maintenance, and saftey concerns. The property felt neglected rather than renovated, it was a totally scetchy atmosphere from the time we got there till we decided an hour later it was a safer choice to go somewhere else. Expedia had difficulty getting assistance from the front desk when trying to help resolve the situation, due to poor management obviously. Not an experience I would repeat. If traveling with family, children, or looking for a safe clean place to rest, I'd spend your money elsewhere.

    The room definitely needs an update. The bathroom was clean but the shower wouldn’t drain properly and the toilet would run continuously. The TV remote didn’t work and when we went to the front desk to get another one, they gave us one without a power button. We’ve stayed at this location before and it was a better experience. I don’t know if we just got an old room or what.

    The photos on the website are very decieving, the property was not in good condition. Looks nothing like the pictures. Not clean at all. Terrible experience at check in. We had to use 3 forms of payment because they would charge a certain amount on one card and said it was declined for the rest which was not true. Very rude. Would not recommend at all. Terrible experience.

    Towels, shower curtain, door and base of toilet were dirty. This hotel was run down and old. Beds are full, not Queen. When asked for a refund, he said we had went past 15 minutes and at 35 minutes it was now considered a dirty room. Half the lightbulbs were out in the lobby making it feel dark and dirty. Had 2 tv remotes, but tv would not stay operational, so the kids couldnt watch cartoons. Breakfast was minimal. And it was a motel, not a hotel. I would not stay here again.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter was traveling from Kentucky to Wyoming. I found a room for her and her kids and upon arrival was told she had to also give a 200 dollar cash deposit. She didn’t have that on her at midnight!! She left and was able to get another room at another hotel but the staff here were rude and nasty. I was not refunded my money for this room and no response from anyone at this establishment. I have no idea what a room here even looked like as my daughter and grandchildren who are little were basically denied what I had paid for by this hotel. I have always had a great experience with this hotel brand and was glad I had found one in Colorado. Never again and again if possible I’d leave negative stars for this place period. Repeated attempts by orbitz to resolve this issue has gone unanswered and I will never use this facility anywhere I travel ever again.
