Not a B&B

The landlord was really kind to us It was very noisy from bus station behind it and motors were extracted in Chinese. The seagulls were a nuisance

Bit of noise early morning from neighbouring garage

Our hosts, Alan and Lynn were very welcoming. The Dolphin Hotel is in a very good location, close to the seafront, and the local shops. We stayed in a lovely room, very comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, with a nice hot shower. TV, a fridge, and kettle with tea and coffee available. We had a very good comfortable stay, very good value for money, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again when we visit Weymouth. Despite our accommodation being in a good location, there was not much to do in Weymouth at this time of the year. Most of the attractions do not commence until April, this includes the museums!

The staff were welcoming and amazing, thankyou

Everything, starting with Alan and Linda making us feel very welcome and taking the time to explain everything in detail, including recommendations to get around by the Jurassic Coaster bus network. (You can get a 1/2/3/7-day pass on the FirstBus app or website). They have run guesthouses in Weymouth in the past and their experience shows. They even gave us a choice of rooms and we chose Room 3, which was smaller but cozier. The heating came on at the right times of the day and was adequate. We also had a mini fridge and TV (with Sky) to use. The bathroom was good and the electronic shower was very convenient to use. Our room was cleaned every day while we were away. The location is great, very close to the train station (2 mins) and beach (5 mins). The National Express bus stop is about 10 mins away. Plenty of restaurants around within a couple of mins' walking distance. We didn't spend time at their pub downstairs but it looked great, full of welcoming local residents. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would return without any hesitation. Thanks, Linda and Alan! Nothing to dislike.

Perfect location, very central, and you could easily find restaurants, shops, train stations, etc, within a short walkable distance (4-7mins). The staff members were very friendly and also informed us that on Friday night there would be a Karaoke at the pub. I appreciate the fact that they had a separate door for the guests therefore, whenever you would like to go outside or come back you didn't have to pass through the pub downstairs. The room was cleaned, and we also had some biscuits and coffee/tea that we could use. The only issue was the heating, maybe it was just our room but even if the heating was on, we were still feeling cold especially during the morning hours around 8ish as I believe it's a central heating and it was the time that it was about to turned off as well as I didn't find the mattress comfy as I was expecting it to be.
