Location is fabulous - right on the Esplanade overlooking the sea. The most comfortable bed EVER in a beautiful top floor room, super-clean with every conceivable extra - toiletries, bath robes, tea/coffee making facilities, make-up mirror, plenty of storage. There's a social seating area in the front lounge with tea/coffee available for guests with Claire's home-made cakes on offer. A friendly, warm welcome awaits from these outstanding hosts and to top it all - an awesome breakfast offering with a huge array of options. Highly recommend and we will be returning. Nothing!

Location, friendly homely welcome, hosts (Andrew and Clare) were excellent,small touches such as cake and coffee and tea in the lounge for guests, Free beach towels and sun brollies for the beach were provided by the hosts. There was nothing to complain about the Mayfair is without a doubt the best Guest house I have ever stayed in

The whole experience was fantastic. Andrew and Clare were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was spot on, my room was just right for a solo traveller and the location was better than I was expecting, right across the road from the beach with all amenities within a short walking distance. Highly recommended. There's nothing that I didn't like

The breakfast was excellent with quality ingredients, especially the bacon, cooked perfectly. We loved the ability to make a cup of tea and sit on the comfy sofa and watch the ocean. Oh and the array of cakes were very tasty. Clare and Andy were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Lots of advice and breakfast banter. Train station, pubs restaurants and bus station all within easy walk.

Everything was perfect. So many special extra touches - cake and fresh fruit to help yourself to throughout the day. Beach equipment to borrow. A comfy shared seating room with binoculars to hand. Kind and friendly hosts. I highly recommend staying here. I liked everything

Close to the station and beach. Can get buses to major cities Extremely expensive and I got such a small room for the money I paid, more so like a prison cell
