The room itself was very big with a large bay window overlooking the beach so was amazing. There was scaffolding outside at the time which was a bit annoying especially in the main summer holiday period so in my opinion should be doing these works in the autumn/winter. Beds were pretty comfy and I’m quite fussy about that so was relieved. The hotel itself had an old feel about it and the carpets on the stairwell and landings look like the same ones when the hotel was built . Great location though as we’ve been coming to Weymouth for years so knew it was a good spot.. great parking for free behind the property in there car parks so was a big plus. All in all it was a decent stay but we only stayed for 1 night so didn’t spend a huge amount of time at the hotel but it’s a big place and I think they have entertainment on and also have a bar open most of the day. Reception were very helpful and friendly. Carpets on stairwell and landings was a big put off and doesn’t match the room standards so was a little worried when we were walking out room. Had the carpets been in good order, I think it would be great value for money.

The room was lovely and clean , with comfy beds. It would be lovely to have a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, specially in this hot weather.

Lovely comfortable and clean bed. A good size fan provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we were in the basement. The curtains were hanging off and didn't give much privacy. Being by the road it was quite noisy early on in the morning. Something in the bathroom made a very load noise every now and then. Needed help opening the shower door once inside as it was cramped and hard to pull open. Although the carpark was free, if someone parked behind you you had to go on the hunt for the owner before you could leave.

I like the location and the size of the room The discomfort caused by the extractor fan located right my room window which was on all day and night making it impossible to sleep. The leeks in the bathroom and the extreme heat as there were no ventilation or fan in the room.

Location was good, close to the seafront and city centre. I didn't like the reception, I was given a room where another guest was and had to wait longer to get another room.Very disorganised and annoying. I will never go back to this hotel again. When I asked them about a problem i was having i was always referred to booking .com who were never helpful as they couldn't answer the phone no matter how many times I called them.I was very disappointed.

Lovely seafront view but that was the only good thing about it! The room was ok (ish) for a family of 4 although everything fell off the surfaces it seemed to be on a slant ! Which became more apparent when we went to bed and husband felt like he was falling off the bed!! The shower was like washing in a wardrobe, and the bathroom not very clean (I wonder how your elderly guests manage with the showering facilities ) the shower was either molten or artic- The widows were rotting and black and as for the lift …. again I wonder how older people visiting your establishment manage unless they are ground floor!! Everything!! Was not worth the £190 plus for a one night stay!! Glad we didn’t book it for the week!!

Fantastic setting right on the beach and only a 10 minute walk to town There was scaffolding up, but that can’t be helped as work needs to be done. The inside decor on the stairs and landing is looking very shabby

Was local, clean and tidy in the room and bed was comfortable Stank of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel, we got greeted at the reception and breakfast that we paid for only at 8.30am sharp no time to make it. Usually you get a time between 8-10am or what ever? So that was disappointing.

Excellent location. Avaiable at short notice; we hadn't intended stopping over. I was told it was a new law that I had to show ID. It was fortunate I happened to have a photo of my passport on my phone. Later discovered this law only applies to non-UK citizens. My name, appearnce and accent couldn't be more British if I tried, so why was I subjected to this indignity?
