Great location close to downtown Whitefish, helpful staff, and lovely common area to sit and relax.

Also could use some minimal utensils. That was the only drawback, but it was major.

It's close to downtown Whitefish. There are many nice hiking trails nearby. I'd stay here again.

Make sure you stay on the renovated section not the old side

OK, this was a weird one - I guess before it was (50%) renovated, people didn't like this place. FYI, if you book this and go for the cheapest double queen/king etc... you will NOT get the renovated side... those rooms are listed as slightly more expensive (thus further down) as 'renovated king' etc. I have not seen the renovated side, but the older side was perfectly fine... it was just a bit old fashioned, clean, and fine... the sheets and towels were new, but I did see some old stained carpet near the service area door a few feet down the hall from my door - that's it. Well that and the frig froze all my food (even salted food) and had no way to set a temp - I just unplugged it and left it open for 2 hours to defrost the ice. Very dog friendly as are all places - Hampton Inn (where my parents stayed) charged for dogs but this (would have been) free - and you can eat just outside the main restaurant next to the fairway (with a net for golf balls) with your dog and order and get waiter service from the restaurant - it was great. (But I think the extra $2 I paid for a elk/bison burger was really just hamburger - they still charged the extra $2.) I had a difficult time on E's side with the booking - they said it was 233 including taxes/fees, then suddenly it was 266 + taxes/fees (so over 300)- also said 2 week cancellation or lose 1 night, but I originally had 3 rooms for 2 nights, then to 2 rooms 2 nights, then to 1 room 1 night + 1 room 2 night, and only a $30 charge.

Our space was advertised as having 2 bedrooms: it wasn't. The layout didn't work for us. From the 3rd floor entrance there's an area with 2 twin beds, then a divider (not wall/door) going to the loft area with a king bed. There's a long staircase down to the living area. My mom isn't able to do stairs so she had to stay on the couch bed, which was not made. I called to get sheets/pillow, etc. and was told someone would be there right away. 90 minutes later I went to the desk to ask again. Two young maids came quickly then and were very professional and friendly while they made it up! My dad stayed in a twin bed upstairs, but they each had only a bottom sheet and a comforter - no top sheet. Why? The 2nd night I remade one bed with the sheet from the other which helped. But for him to use the bathroom, which elderly men do frequently, he had to come through the loft area where we were sleeping, all the way down the stairs and around my mom trying to sleep in the main area (no floor/stair lighting, which is a hazard). OR he had to get completely dressed, go in the hallway, down the elevator/stairs and enter into the 2nd floor. None of us got any sleep. The floor by the 2nd floor entrance was sticky. These things made the stay really challenging. The patio/lobby was wonderful. We enjoyed the proximity to the Park and Whitefish. Would not stay again!

Love it all. From the friendly staff, beautiful lobby, great restaurant and bar, the outdoor seating and fire pits and especially the hot tub! The location is perfect for all we are looking to do in Whitefish and the surrounding area. Our hotel/lodge of choice!

We had a beautiful room, nice restaurant with a limited menu, close enough to downtown with lots of choices to eat.

Staff was great! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like

The room was clean and comfortable! I didn't have much interaction with the staff other than checking in and out but they were friendly and informative. We were part of a Backroads cycling trip so we bought our own breakfast and coffee from the Cafe. Coffee was great and yogurt parfait too. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar area in the evening, great ambiance! Loved Whitefish.

Wonderful stay! After a long day of hiking, it was a pleasure to sit out on the back porch next to the fire pits with a Huckleberry Margarita. Beautiful flowers. Nice lounge area
