Wilderness Beach House Backpackers Lodge

Helpful staff, good energy and clean setup. Location is wonderful, walking distance from the beach and easy location for ocean swim. Highly recommend for fellow explorers and adventurers. No problems.

The farm animals were so cute and friendly, the view was amazing and the pool was ASTOUNDING! We loved everything

Excellent location. Close to the beach and excellent views. Very comfortable bed. Clean and spacious room. Parking seems to be an issue during high season.

This place was great! A good mix of locals ( enjoying Sunday live music there and some also living there) It’s a hostel… Put your stuff in a bag in the fridge and label it! I didn’t experience any of my stuff taken. But others took up fridge space by not labelling then leaving… Just a small annoyance i have experienced else too…

The view Basic stock for the menu was not available. Rooms were smelly, the beds mattresses has not been renewed in what seems like forever. Sleeping on the ground would be more comfortable. Bathroom was mouldy. Not even an hour after connecting to the free WiFi both myself and my Wife's socials were attempted to be hacked. Sitting at the social are was uncomfortable. For a back packers it was the worst one we ever stayed at.

Really clean facilities, beautiful view. It is always a plus or a bonus when a hostel has a female only dorm.

the hostel is located right at the beach and you can enjoy a great view from the bar area aswell as from most of the rooms. food and drinks are very good and the prices are reasonable. not a lot of information given at check-in and also not a lot of social events going on like one is used to from other hostels.

Parking and location are good.we see the road to the backpackers is been upgraded.excellent The kitchen is a bit small and cramped for the number of guests you are trying to accomodate.The fridge is very cramped.

Location was excellent. Right on the beach. The sitting area for relaxing and eating was good. Really didn’t like the fact the allow people to smoke right outside the rooms. This aspect was disgusting. Also not clothes line. Was impossible to dry things so there was clothes and towels draped over every available seat.

Exceptional

This is one of those places you come to for the vibes, the morning view of the ocean and the location that is stunning. There are older and younger travellers coming here, which makes it a lovely place to meet other people. We had a private room with only the possibility of plugs on one side of the bed. Our shower was leaking and warm water ran out twice. The bed was the least comfortable we had along the way.
