Adventurer Oceanfront Inn

The one disappointment was the Reef Restaurant at the hotel. At around 11:00 AM, another gentleman and I stood there for about five minutes waiting to be seated or even acknowledged. Unfortunately, no one greeted us, said hello, or let us know that someone would be with us shortly. After waiting about five minutes without any acknowledgment, I decided to leave and went across the street to a diner instead. A simple greeting would have made a big difference. Aside from that experience, I enjoyed my stay and would still give the hotel 4 stars overall.

Great location and property is kept clean.

As always a wonderful time in Wildwood Crest and The Adventurer!! Room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and polite. The Reef restaurant was great! Food was always delicious!

Well organized and well cleaned

I booked for two nights and after booking I received a call from the facility that they could not give me the same room for two nights. I had to check out in the morning after the first night and wait until the other room was available. This facility should never have come up on the search if they did not have two nights together in the same room. This is bait and switch. The elevators are terrible. They have no air circulation and take forever to move from one floor to another. Due to how slow they operate it creates a line of people waiting for the elevator. The parking is the worse. The parking spaces are extremely tight and create a problem to open your doors to exit. I tried their underground parking but the design is flawed. If the underground lot is full you can't turn around it is a dead end requiring you to back out of the underground lot which is extremely dangerous.

We were on the 2nd floor so it was easy access to the pool and other decks on the property

This place is amazing all the way around! Exceptional staff that greet you with a smile and very helpful! Cute rooms and just a touch of home.. Also having breakfast brought to you to room made to order is beyond what I have seen in any of my travels ❤️ I would definitely consider staying if in the area again

Location cannot be beat! Really comfy beds and the staff was so nice and welcoming and quick to respond to anything we needed. There was also a large amount of parking which is always appreciated and when we went there were a lot of families staying which meant for calm and quiet nights. The pool was heated and perfect for kids. The room overall was standardly clean, but my son was crawling on the carpeted floors and his knees and feet were black every time we picked him up. The property is very dated and the first time we flushed the toilet, the handle broke from being severely rusted. The elevators are slowww and small which led to a lot of waiting around with kids and strollers. If it could get some TLC in the off season, this place has massive potential to be the absolute best place to stay.

Close to beach and boardwalk

the room and accommodations were fully equipped and spacious. there was a cute restaurant on site. we couldn't book an additional night.

Was in good location to boardwalk & view of pool. Across from the beach access. Room was clean. It was not Wheelchair accessible. I use a manual WC and needed help for accessing the elevator & getting in/.out of parking garage. The ramps were too steep, I would have fell backwards or forward if I attempted on my own. The elevator required 2 persons to help, the door shut so quickly someone had to hold button inside while another pushed me into it. Crazy !

Staff was friendly, room was clean and had partial ocean views. Near broad walk and restaurants. We had a quiet enjoyable weekend.

Great experience and location

The hotel rooms are good size. I think every one came with a balcony room. The pool had color changing lights, the kids loved that! The location of the hotel was right at the start of the boardwalk and their wooden path to the beach went down a good amount. The restaurant in the hotel was good too. I booked 3 day with Booking.com but the hotel call and stated that the room I chose was not available for all the days. So after the first night they had to change me to a different room. The elevators were faster going up but very slow going down then most of the time you could not get on due to other people being on. (10-15 minutes wait). There was a stairwell but it’s a lot with the beach cart. The parking spots at the hotel are very narrow so be prepared for a few dings! I literally had to go in my passenger side door to be able to get my car out. Also, I was not away Oceanfront did not really mean oceanfront.. the beach is very very wide. It was probably a mile walk to the actual water ?
